rock hard pillows!
Size of Room,
Friendly small hotel, with lots of restaurants nearby, and just a 10 minute walk to the Albert Hall.
Need better instructions on use of the lift as we got stuck between floors. You must stand back from the door and this could be written in larger letters inside lift.
I came very early before check in time , but the staff was extremely helpful, nice and welcoming . They offered me a drink while arranging a room for me to check in 4 hours early without any extra fees . The room was clean and comfortable . The location is fantastic . I'm definitely considering this hotel again and again when ever I'm back in London.
For the price we paid our expectations were not high but we were pleasantly surprised. The welcome was warm, as was the service at breakfast. The continental breakfast was generous, so we have no complaints at all. Excellent value for money.
I stayed here on Monday the 2nd of February. The gentleman working reception was most helpful and could not do enough for us. The hotel room was very comfortable and the location of the hotel is great
Attentive staff, very helpful and polite. Room was small but adequate and pleasant. Location for central London excellent.
Would have liked free Wi Fi in room.
everthing is good
Very helpful staff. Printed out a document for me with no trouble. Very clean and modern rooms.
The bedroom windows was broken which meant it was noisy outside during the night, particularly from a bar across the road.
GREAT LOCATION -HOTEL ALL GOOD FOR A SHORT STAY WHERE YOU NEED A CLEAN ROOM GOOD SHOWER FOR SHORT PERIOD, ROOM TINY BUT IN THIS AREA OF LONDON GREAT VALUE.
NOTHING TO DISLIKE - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
The room had everything I needed for my short one night stay. It was aesthetically pleasing, the morning staff at breakfast were nice and there must be an honourable mention for the heated bathroom floor it was a major highlight. I got exactly what I needed for a very reasonable price
The view from the room wasn't great but I wasn't there to be looking out the windows. A hairdryer in the bedroom wouldn't go astray but most hotels don't even give shampoo and conditioner these days which this one did.
Excellent location, easy access to anywhere in the city and very nice staff..
The location was excellent. About a five minute walk to the Royal Albert Hall in a straight line. The rooms were very colourful and comfortable, and at great value for the price I paid.
The bathroom is on the smaller side, so something to consider if you like more space. However, no other dislikes.
This hotel was the smallest and one of the most comfortable rooms I ever stayed in. Every aspect of the design was focused on functionality. The housekeeping was great!
...everything was almost 'perfect' until my last day: the guy at the reception refused to print my boarding pass from a flash drive. If my hotel would not print my boarding pass, then who would?
room very small
Overall it was good
Entrance was quite difficult to see from the road as had expected a bigger door entrance. Beds should be minimum standard double. There was plenty of room for a standard double, but a small double does not really provide enough space for 2 average adults to be fully comfortable.
I had to move after one night and the so called double executive room was a very dark small room to the back where even one Person had Trouble to open a small suitcase. The rooms to the front are so loud that you think you live next to a motorway
Helpful, friendly staff. Very well appointed room with excellent fittings. reasonable cost.
Traffic noise from Kensington High Street. Windows don't fit as well as they should. Couldn't turn on/off the lights without removing room card.
This is a very pleasant, small hotel, extremely convenient for what we wanted,ie Royal Albert Hall and easily accessible restaurants, etc.
good breakfast, complimentary toiletries, water free wifi close to tube on circle line
room slightly on the small side
Location was great. Breakfast was good.
No elevator to reception. Room not cleaned to our liking. Not even a soda machine on site for cold drinks. The street and club across street was so noisy it was hard to sleep. Noise went on to 3 a.m. No pamphlets about things to do at front desk.
Perfect for our needs, walking distance of Albert Hall, Kensington Gardens and Palace. Good local eateries and shopping. Staff more than helpful and accommodating. If in the area would definitely use again.
Fine for us but stair case might be a little difficult for less mobile, those with small children or carrying lots of luggage. Our room was fine but compact, again tricky if the above points apply.
We arrived early, I paid the bill on arrival and we were given our key, we were told the deluxe room we had booked would be ready two I clock. When we want back it was three I clock, we walked into the room and the bed had just been slept in and the bathroom a mess. We phoned reception they changed our room to a much smaller bedroom and bathroom straight away. I would like to know please if the new room we were allocated was the same rate as the original room we paid for.
Location to the Royal Albert Hall, very short walk. Wonderful shower, large and powerful. Good price for London, £135 double room with continental breakfast. Very quiet, no street noise at all.
The bed like sleeping on a board only two pillows , two on top of the wardrobe but no pillow cases.
