Liked the proximity to Kensington Gardens and High Street Ken tube station; breakfast was included and decent for London hotels (toast, croissant, danish P., yogurt, fresh fruit, jam, cheese, tea, coffee); clean and not noisy; friendly and helpful staff; cosy room with tea making facilities and a tv; everything seemed well-looked after.

Customers need to be aware that it is a small place; reception, breakfast room and lounge are in one room staffed by one or two people; narrow staircase but also an elevator; I was lucky and given a double room though I had booked a single, however, it would have been tight with two suitcases and there was no closet only four coathangers on a rack; tiny bathroom;I loved it and will go back but could see how others might be put off by this.

Chose Seraphine because of location,5 mins from High St Ken tube,numerous places to eat,frequent bus (no9 from opp hotel) to West End via Knightsbridge/Piccadilly,usual hotel was full so 1st time here. Nice continental breakfast included,single room clean & overlooked entrance to Kensington Palace,Albert Hall nearby aswell plus Exhibition Rd which leads to V&A,Nat History/Science Museum. Had 1 complaint while there,was sorted by time I returned so very happy with that & bag storage was free.

If I'm honest it has to be the oddest hotel I've stayed in London! Stairs upto reception,lift to room as previously mentioned so not for those with mobilitiy problems or that like amenities. Reception's also the bar & pretty small but quiet while I was there so just went elsewhere in the evenings...Has to be the narrowest hotel I've stayed in,everything squeezed in a bit & room lay out for a single although ok for me required climbing over bed to get from bathroom side to wardrobe! There is a security issue with hotel that played on my mind while there & would put me of staying again (won't go into it,don't want to give bad guys ideas!) Value?? Only so much location can justify.

Breakfast is included in the deal. The staff were friendly, very helpful and accommodating. I was travelling with my friend and we had a free upgrade to a family room which was really comfortable. Initially when we got in, the room smelled musty but after we opened the window to air it, this was no longer an issue. The staff were all very helpful (I got assistance on how to use the tube to shopping areas). Besides, they also acceded to my request for late check out as I had a late flight out of London. Really nice staff and value for money accommodation.

You will need to climb two levels of stairs before you get to the reception at the 2nd floor (there is no lift connecting the ground floor to the 2nd floor). The lift operation from the 2nd floor onwards was also very slow. In hindsight, I would recommend this hotel to young and able persons but would not recommend this hotel to old people with leg problem as they might have problem climbing the stairs to the 2nd floor.

Rooms were small but well organised and well decorated. Would perfectly suit a 1-2 night stay. There is a lift but you must walk 2 flights of narrow steps (think London townhouse) so you don't want to be humping up a big heavy suitcase, no where to put it in the room anyway. I missed breakfast but Continental included and the breakfast room / lounge / reception looked nice and staff friendly. 5 min walk from High Street Ken station, great shopping and restaurants nearby. I would stay again for a weekend in London.

It's location - beautiful. The friendliness and comfort. We wished to stay longer, but had to get back. We recommend this hotel to all friends. Thank you.

The room was very nicely decorated. It was very clean and comfortable. I like the bathroom which had a disabled person friendly shower. All the amenities were excellent. I really liked the continental breakfast which was constantly replenished.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not have an elevator from the ground floor to the upper floors where the rooms are located. If one cannot walk up stairs, this is not the hotel in which to stay.

Great location for Kensington and Royal Albert Hall. Spotlessly clean, lovely modern room. Perfect choice!

Great location right across from Hyde Park

The lift was incredibly slow, at one point I had to wait for almost 15 minutes.

Location was excellent and staff were very helpful and polite

The location of the Hotel was perfect for us to get around and experience a bit of London. The Hotel was clean and modern and a breathe of fresh air.

However, not having a lift or reception on the first floor was rather awkward. The rooms were absolutely modern and clean, however, so small that it was almost impossible to accommodate our luggage bags.I Do realise that a room is there for the sole purpose of a place to put your head at the end of an evening but this was rather tight.It was definitely not designed for a couple or families and rather for a single person travelling.

Location, location, location right on Kensington High St, for shopping, opposite Kensington Gardens and close to Hyde Park and Tube station. Friendly staff and clean individual rooms. May not be user friendly if you are disabled as reception is on first floor and lift is also on first floor.
