Nothing - I hated it! This is an appalling example of London Hotels. Goodness knows what message it sends to tourist from other countries, Apart from the quality of the provison - my main concern is that it is a death trap. How they get a license from the local authority beggers belief. There is no secondary means of escape. The narrow, twisting stairs with un-equal tread depths, is the only means of access and exit. A fire on the ground floor would leave all occupants on the floors 1-4 trapped. The 'private toilet' was not in the room - but a shared resource in the corridor. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

The location was perfect, just five minutes from Leicester Square tube station. It was surprisingly quiet for a central hotel. The room was 3 floors up so it felt like climbing the north face of the Eiger! It was relatively small so I had to move the bed in order to close the bathroom door. There were only two plug points for tv, kettle and hairdryer and in order to be able to swap between appliances you had to move the dressing table. If I wanted to be in furniture moving I would work for Pickfords! One of the bedside lamps appeared to be not working - though maybe it wasn't plugged in and as it would have meant pulling the bed out to check I never found out. The lighting around the dressing table was also very poor which made getting ready to go out fun. One of the towels in the bathroom had a suspicious dirty mark on it. The breakfast was poor; there was no choice of cereals - cornflakes or cornflakes!! Most things seemed to have run out by 8.15am and were slow in being replenished. The sausages were cremated, the tomatoes were tinned and not fresh and the baked beans were dried out. The dining room (below street level) felt generally cramped and was very hot and stuffy, not helped by the open kitchen door, the hot food counter and the fact it was July. A recent stay in central Berlin for less per night for much superior food and accomodation leaves me wondering what foreign tourists must think of us if this is the best we can do.

We had no complaints about this hotel at all. There was a wait for our room but we were given another instead and we were early. Breakfast was very good cereals and cooked food available. We were not rushed to leave. Will definitely use again,

Close to HOlborn St, where I had a conference. Friendly owner. Stayed in annexe which was a little weird but had ensuite. Bed too small for two people. Breakfast dreadful.Sloppy. Bathroom minimal. Considering price it was not great.

The location was excellent. The room was rather small, but for the price and location quite fair. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was fine and pretty much eliminated the need for a full lunch. All in all, a great value for the money.

Location is fabulous and staff very good and friendly. I had stayed there before so I knew what to expect and I returned and will do so again; this is not the Ritz, but offers good value for money, close to everything! I am prepared to overlook the tiny bathrooms which are the greatest drawback; for the fantastic location, good breakfasts and nice people. Bathrooms very small, no wifi in the annex.

I didn't like anything The room was small, far too hot and with inconvenient plug points. The shower felt grubby and the door to the bathroom couldn't open fully as the room was so small the bed was in the way

The hotel location is second to none and the staff very friendly. Make sure to avoid room 3 though - the noise outside is very bad and the single bed is broken.

It was quite close to the Phoenix theatre and to Covent Garden The room and shower area were quite small and the traffic noise was very loud. For this location triple glazing would have been a good idea.

Location was great, welcome was friendly and for one night only it was adequate. T.V. was not working, room was very small for a family of 3 and a bit noisy ( you could easily hear people in the other rooms).

The hotel was within walking distance of my event and was easy to find from main line rail stations The hotel is in an area which is busy and noisy with a 24/7 party atmosphere. Impossible to sleep at night. My room was on the 4th floor and I had to negotiate a steep narrow staircase to get to my room

Location was very good for all the theatres and central london. Not far from the main railway station Generally ok. Breakfast a little disorganised because we had to wait for certain items to be cooked whilst others went cold but food good.

I liked the location in Covent Garden near the theater. The fourth floor bathroom door didn't even close or lock. The underneath of the water tank is black mold. The price of this hotel was the same exact price we paid for another London hotel which was beautiful, had a doorman, a lift and was very clean. I felt that this place was a huge rip off and was extremely disappointed.
