Nothing - I hated it! This is an appalling example of London Hotels. Goodness knows what message it sends to tourist from other countries, Apart from the quality of the provison - my main concern is that it is a death trap. How they get a license from the local authority beggers belief. There is no secondary means of escape. The narrow, twisting stairs with un-equal tread depths, is the only means of access and exit. A fire on the ground floor would leave all occupants on the floors 1-4 trapped. The 'private toilet' was not in the room - but a shared resource in the corridor. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

The location was perfect, just five minutes from Leicester Square tube station. It was surprisingly quiet for a central hotel. The room was 3 floors up so it felt like climbing the north face of the Eiger! It was relatively small so I had to move the bed in order to close the bathroom door. There were only two plug points for tv, kettle and hairdryer and in order to be able to swap between appliances you had to move the dressing table. If I wanted to be in furniture moving I would work for Pickfords! One of the bedside lamps appeared to be not working - though maybe it wasn't plugged in and as it would have meant pulling the bed out to check I never found out. The lighting around the dressing table was also very poor which made getting ready to go out fun. One of the towels in the bathroom had a suspicious dirty mark on it. The breakfast was poor; there was no choice of cereals - cornflakes or cornflakes!! Most things seemed to have run out by 8.15am and were slow in being replenished. The sausages were cremated, the tomatoes were tinned and not fresh and the baked beans were dried out. The dining room (below street level) felt generally cramped and was very hot and stuffy, not helped by the open kitchen door, the hot food counter and the fact it was July. A recent stay in central Berlin for less per night for much superior food and accomodation leaves me wondering what foreign tourists must think of us if this is the best we can do.

Great price for the product and location. Great location. Hannah on the front desk is very warm and welcoming and very on-the-ball - she knew about the requests I'd made on my booking for the kind of room I would prefer, commented on those, and accommodated as many of the points as she could. The free wifi is great. Flat screen TV with digitial channels and radio in a hotel of this price bracket is great, I've stayed in others which still have old style terrestrial-only TV's. Really close to Neal's Yard which is nice if you want to get away from the traffic and enjoy places with a bit of "character". Plenty of places close by to eat at. It isn't the most modern of hotels, but it had eveything you needed and the staff are really helpful.

Tiny room, bed was far too small, fittings and fixtures were old/worn, very poor fiasco facilities, terrible from a safety point of view, particularly with regard to fire safety. Generally a terrible, over- priced death trap. Will not be going there again or recommending

Hotel room, bedding and towels all appeared clean. The en suite was actually in the tiny room, that's a sink, shower and toilet in the room. There was a horrible ''drains'' smell in the room and I could not decide whether it was from the toilet or the alleyway outside my window. The buffet breakfast could have been good if it was fresh I.e. Dry beans and scrambled egg and the sausages resembled tiny pieces of charcoal.

The location - perfect for Covent Garden, Holborn, 7 Dials etc. Convenient for several tube stops. Breakfast was OK. My room was on the top floor and there is no lift. The staircase was really narrow and twisty and I would not want to negotiate it with anything larger than a small overnight bag. The room was tiny - eveything was there, but in miniature. No proper wardrobe - just coat hangers on the wall. OK for one night, nothing more.

I chose Seven Dials for the location - right in the middle of Covent Garden. It had everything I needed for a short stay, but I wouldn't stay there for more than one night as it is quite compact. An apparently independent hotel where the owners seem to have taken care to give guests all they need in the centre of town for an affordable price. My room was a little small for more than a night's stay. It didn't worry me that it was on the top floor with no lift, but I imagine it would have been very difficult for some people.

The hotel was in a central and safe location, close enough to the locations I wished to visit during my trip. The hotel was warm, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was substantial, well cooked and well presented. The room was a little smaller than I had anticipated but it did not present any problems for me as a sole traveller. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. All in all I was very happy with the hotel and my stay there.

Nothing at all - it was dreadful. DON'T STAY HERE. It is very small and "pokey" - the "double" room was so small you couldn't swing a cat it it. I guess it is only just qualifies as a double room because it has the smallest double bed I've ever seen. Tthere was no milk to make tea and when I asked the night porter for some he said they only supply milk powder - ugh. The room was too hot, even without the heating on - but if you have the window open the noise keeps you awake. Breakfast - you have a choice of old mashed corn flakes or old mashed corn flakes and orange juice or orange juice and then fried eggs with solid hard yokes (because they've been sitting there for 3 hours) to go with the bacon, sausage and tinned tomatoes. Then old rubbery toast with no marmalade. Altogether the worst hotel I have ever stayed in - and if they want to call themselves a B&B then they should charge B&B prices.

Shower nice and hot. Bed very comfortable. The room was small and in a poor state of decor, the toilet was not ensuite and a little further down the public, narrow corridor, than anticipated, the shower tray and unit was basic and the shower head did not seem to point downwards making it awkward to shower. The breakfast was mediocre and there wasn't any point my telling them my partner was a vegetarian, not even a veggy sausage, as a vegetarian, the breakfast was much more limited than if you were a meat eater. We got the feeling that because we booked through yourselves we got a less comfortable room than we would have by going direct to the hotel and yet we paid the same amount. Oh and the hair dryer didn't blow warm air!

Location is good but I wouldn't sleep on the street just to be in the right place. There are other considerations that this hotel totally ignores. The image given by the website is far from reality. This dingy Guest House (how dare they call it a Hotel) has absolutely no facilities. I climbed to my tiny room on the second floor via a steep and narrow stairs. room was small and not too clean and the window wouldn't lock. The breakfast room and and breakfast was so poor I didn't bother after 1st day. Complained to Booking.com and all they said was the owner was liable for the advertising. What a cop-out. I think I will advertise my house as a 5 star! if your thinking of staying there - dont - not unless the only other choice is the street. The ST Giles is close by and is cheaper! How does that work!
