Stairs vinyl flooring in rooms, decor bit behind the times but you get what you pay for.
The hotel was in an ideal location to where we wanted to be but we were on the top floor had to go up step stairs which when coming down felt unsafe. Room was small, sheets had holes in them and the walls were in bad need to paint...well the whole hotel nerds decoration apart from the dining room which was immaculate and breakfast was lovely. The staff were pleasant and overall the hotel was only a place to rest our heads at night.
Breakfast not bad
Great central location for city London....good value for money...very clean....food good ....staff very polite and pleasant.
I liked how central is was to everything,
Unfortunately we were in a room under the stairs and we were on ground floor near the office. When guests came back we could hear the squeaky stairs as the guests came back late in the evening. We were given a choice of what room we wanted and chose that room. So really, we made our bed and had to lay in it..... :D
Friendly Staff, great location and a good breakfast.
Couldn't get a better location. For a place to just sleep and go this was fine.
Bathroom was very basic but worked fine and clean
Very basic accommodation
Location - excellent for Theatres and nights out in London. Wide choise of small, exclusive restaurants as well as some bigger chain eateries.
Perfect location, room had everything I needed, great value for money in central London.
Water pressure in the shower could be improved.
location. Provided tea + coffee making facilities. Breakfast OK.
very small room. called a double but only a 4 ft bed and crammed against the wall on one side. Should really have been sold as a single room. Dirty and stained bedspread Dirty shower and curtain.
I got a quiet room at the back but even they can be spoilt by the noisy aircon units around the property.
Very small room so not great value. Not a great range for breakfast is put out and eggs are a bit rubbery.
Excellent location Small but perfectly clean
No toiletries bar soap Extremely small bathroom
Perfect location for a central London stay. Great, clean accommodation for the budget conscientious traveller.
The lack of noise reducing insulations between the room and main staircase/Reception. I was based in the ground floor room behind the Reception.
Location, breakfast & price
Decor needs updating
Friendly staff and a amazing location make this hotel one I would defiantly use again in the future. Nothing fancy but does what need.
was booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night, the place stank, the room was tiny and the shower didnt work. i wouldn,t stay at this hotel again, had to check into another hotel for the 2nd night.
Helpful staff, good location
My room was up five flights of steep stairs. I didn't like the fact that the toilet and shower were in the same room where I slept.
Excellent location, friendly staff and nice breakfast
Room was smallest double room ever. 3/4 bed, tv not working, no hairdryer, toilet at an angle (only way it could fit in bathroom? ). Think we must have had the last, worst room there. It was a shock, could not spend any time in the room other than to sleep as it was not comfortable or roomy. Avoid room 5 at all cost. Dissapointed.
Staff Location Value Breakfast
Friendly staff, good breakfast,nice room.
Steep steps could be problem for less able people.
Excellent location easy walk to all major attractions. Bus routes busy but great way to see the sights. Good breakfast larger than average room . All in all I doubt that any better location would have been so much value for money.Wi fi available even in annex.
Double bed too small but could have slept in a single so the choice to sleep as I did was mine . Very hot in room but again was able to open a window. Bathroom very small but as it was used only when required was acceptable.
The location is excellent, we were only 5 minutes walk from most visitor attractions, such as Trafalgar Square and Covent garden and a short distance from tube stations. The Staff are very friendly just what you would expect form a family run B&B. The bed linen and towels were changed on a daily basis. The English breakfast is fresh and because you serve yourself you can have as much or as little as you want, we found the staff in the breakfast room very pleasant and attentive.
We found the rooms were a little Small and could do with some redecoration, however we do realise the price does reflect this shortfall.
I liked the location.
I didn't like the fact that I had a toilet but it was not in my room.
Central location. Friendly staff Good cooked breakfast
Rooms small and basic, but quite adequate for our needs
