Score from 3670 reviews Very good
Excellent location and very nice people. Able to leave luggage safely. Good Wifi and TV. Comfortable bed.
Poor quality cooked breakfast. No milk provided in room, powdered whitener was awful.
Right in the heart of Covent Garden. Staff friendly and friendly. Like being in a smack village environment. Great fun! Good clean and excellent deals. Clean and tidy. Breakfast very nice.
Bedroom decor a bit tired and needs attention. Bedside lights not working. Bathroom very small and cramped. No working light over sink. Electrics faulty.
Hannah was very helpful.
Breakfast was disgusting. Location was incredibly noisy. Room was cramped and very cobbled and worn out. Didn't want to get into the shower, shower head was really dirty. Dim light in bathroom. No help with the bags. Really, you could stay in many other nicer places in London for the same price. It is in a very touristed part of London near Covent Garden if you like this sort of thing. I can't believe Rick Steves recommended this place!
The location is great, a lot of things to do around the hotel
narrow stairs, small bathroom
Friendly staff, central London location.
Having to struggle with suitcase to the top floor vis very narrow & twisting staircase. No shelf for soap, etc, in shower and some lights not working.
Price, location, reasonable breakfast, clean, newish bathroom
small rooms, very little daylight, noisy staircase, felt close
Room kinda small but fair for only one person.
Room was comfortable, with good washing facilities.Good idea having a ceilng fan, pity it turned off with the light.
Room window very small, making it quite dark in daylight. The fan was good but it should be able to be switched on separate from the light,as the room was very hot during the night. The breakfast (cooked)could be tastier,it was very bland.
This B&B's location is its primary attraction; very close to theatres, galleries and shops around Covent Garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Full English breakfast was included and bedrooms have tea/coffee making facilities. The entrance is manned 24 hours, so no problem for night owls.
This is a B&B for those wishing to spend their days out and about, it's not a 'pamper yourself' hotel! The room was basic but it was very clean; no air conditioning, but there was a ceiling fan. There was a good deal of street noise during the night so this location might not suit light sleepers. There's no lift, so not ideal for anyone daunted by the idea of carrying luggage up three or four storeys. Two oddly ineffective mini soaps were the only offerings in the bathroom, so remember to bring your own toiletries!
Location excellent Good value for money Bed very comfy
The breakfast wasnt the best.
great size room, the staff were very friendly and went out of their way for us. We had an amazing sleep with plenty of pillows
the shower was small, with an old curtain and it and the floor wasn't very clean
Location was ok, only 10 mins from theatre.
Mould on the walls, room needs painting, shared toilet, difficult for a man to stand up when using it, tiny shower felt dirty getting out of it!!
The location couldn't be better. It's right in Covent Garden and is only a 5 minute walk to the metro. It's also near the West End theatre district. The rooms are not big or luxurious but they are clean and tidy.
Stairway leading upstairs is a bit narrow but the building is older so I doubt there is much that can be done about that.
The plus side to this "hotel" is the location. Right in the heart of Covent Garden. The staff were friendly enough but they were all foreign so communication was tough.
The room was very basic and small. The breakfast was disgusting. Cold and burnt. It is very noisy at night here but we expected that due to the location.
Location, excellent. Breakfast, okay. Room okay
Size of room No toilet in room although did have shower???? Shower very small
Location Friendly staff
Great location. Walking distance to the city centre of London. Friendly staff. Breakfast ok.
Very small rooms. Tiny stairs to the different floors.
Lovely friendly and easy-going staff, shabby old-fashioned comfort and basic rooms, but very clean and the beds were comfortable. Good breakfast. Fabulous location. I thought it would be noisy at night but with the secondary double glazing it was very quiet and shut out all traffic noise. Perfect B&B for an overnight stay in London.
Too small basin in bathroom. Some hooks for towels in the bathroom would be good.
No lift, small rooms, limited dining facilities,
great location no fitted carpet in our room, that was positive!
beds were terrible (back still hurts after a few days) a toilet paper rack wouldn't be a bad idea breakfast was a joke
Location was excellent!! It was right at the top of Seven Dials just off Shaftesbury Ave. with good ticket office just 20 foot away from hotel (B&B). Loads of places to eat/drink right on doorstep! It is CHEAP & CHEERFUL...don't expect top hotel facilities etc! very basic but enough for a short stay. exactly like most of the other reviews!! 2 nights stay £310 checked in 1pm on 13/8/14 and checked out 15/8/14 room 4 at the back (Family room 1st floor). Staff even offered to mind our bags on the last day whilst we did some last minute sight seeing!! ITS BASIC, CHEAP, CLEAN BUT SUPERB LOCATION!!
Stairs where very small. Can't complain as got exactly what I paid for!!
