The staff were very flexible and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It is an elegant and well decorated Georgian house with excellent bathrooms and facilities, particularly the bedding and linen. The location is perfect, very quiet, yet 5 minutes walk to the esplanade or to the shopping centre and restaurants. Although the breakfasts were good, they did not match the high standards of everything else.

Very friendly, family run b&b. Rooms were very homely and comfortable. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Location was perfect, not far from Town Centre and 5 minutes from the beach. Breakfast included in the price was excellent, lots ov variety and choice! Wold definately recommend and go back there myself.

A wonderful early-19th century house, with great atmosphere and facilities. Furnishings were magnificent. We would have preferred more interaction with the owner, especially on departure. We wanted to thank him and compliment him on his establishment!

This place is lovely. The rooms and bathroom have a beautifull design, seems pretty new. The owner is really kind, even if me and my boyfriend messed up going in the wrong B&b (same street, similar name, be carefull!), and we forgot our keys once, he was very helpfull and nice. We had a couple of big beackfasts at his bar, just down the street, included in the price of the room. We booked one double room, and he gave us two double rooms on the same floor, and a bathroom on the same floor, that was out of the rooms but we had our privacy because the floor was all ours. On the same floor there was also a big closet we could use. We had shower and bathtube, and lots of soft towels and two bathrobes, many good quality soaps and lotions. The place was really quiet. Near the sea, and near the bus station.

I cant wait to go back to Seventeen Eglinton B&B! The facilities were beautiful, with gorgeous room decor and luxurious bedding. Colin, the owner, was hospitable, friendly and helpful, and made our short stay all the more enjoyable. I really couldnt recommend this place enough for people looking for a short stay guesthouse. The only thing I would change is that I would have stayed longer!

Ive stayed in many expensive hotels in London. But this hotel is a little gem. Probably the best hotel ive experienced. Colin who owns it couldnt do enough. The rooms are very spacious and look great. Bed was amazing. Couldnt fault it. Plus it is a minutes walk from the beach and also only 10 minutes away from the station.

room very comfortable--quirky,well decorated Service poor no extra toilet rolls-these had to be asked for. Towels were changed once but soiled ones were not removed. We were locked out of our room one evening and had to call the owner to fix the lock.

Very lovely bb, big room/windows, quiet, clean, well situated. Private bathroom was big, clean and nice. You have to go there if you are around. We recommend it, best hotel during our journey in England. Very nice host, thanks Colin. Although every room has its own private bathroom, one guest used ours, because we didnt lock it.
