Nothing just a ripe off. How on earth can someone pay 435pounds for a hotel that lack internet facility.no lift, very poor breakfast that I did not bother to go after my first day.No heater and my baby has to develop cold as the management refuse to put heater even after I asked that my room was cold.

The location is ideal! Right in heart of everything! Hotel very dated and hallway was very dirty! However room itself and dining room whilst very basic and old fashioned were clean! Given that it really was just a bed for the night I would stay again! Breakfast was fine as well! The hotel is dated and parts of it ie hallway were dirty!

location, price, neighbourhood; as stated in many reviews, the breakfast is simple, but ok for a 2-stars hotel; room has been visited by the staff every day, changed the towels, but room was only partly cleaned up; we managed to survive with extremelly tiny bathroom (in a 4-bed room), but being warned by previous reviewers we have brought our own towels as well; actually, we stayed in another hotel (just arround the corner from the main entrance to Seymour) which was not a problem needs renewal - but it would increase the price, so maybe just the essentials ;) ants visited us each day; the clean sheets and towels have been left on the (dirty) ground in the staircase before putting them to the rooms; staff mainly kind, some of them had problems with the language and maybe seemed unfriendly - but no big complaints really, some improvements could be done with no big investments

It had rooms where no other hotel did, I now see why Room was dirty, with marks on the walls etc. The downstairs in the part of the hotel I stayed in smelt like urine. Bathroom was tiny and shower door broken with the shower head spraying water everywhere as it was broken too.

Close location to Paddington Station. No soap or shampoo whatsoever in the rooms. Also, no iron or ironing board. Rooms were incredibly small and the shower was a complete joke.

A very ordinary hotel (I stayed in an annexe, the Berkeley Court Hotel). Reception staff friendly enough. Rather poor facilities in room. Very cramped bathroom (no shampoo provided). Water seeping from bathroom into bedroom carpet. Smell of sewage in bathroom. No remote for tv. Minimal breakfast. A very noisy group of Danish students woke me in the night and I needed to ask them to be quiet, with only partial effect. Small bed and minimal bedclothes. Breakfast staff spoke little English.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I liked them but the breakfast room was better than I expected given the very basic standard of the room...........it was nowhere near what it should be for 2012 in a capital city but it was better than the room and the girl running it was trying hard. It would scarcely be possible for the Seymour Hotel be any more basic than it is.....the facilities are not at all hotel like, more like a low standard of hostel accomodation and in a supposedly world class city that London is meant to be the facilities on offer here are not of a satisfactory standard.......old fashioned, tired, charmless and basic......and someone born in London it is embarrassing that tourists are going to come to the city and experience facilities like these.
