Very friendly and helpful staff with good food and comfortable room.

The staff was outstanding - helpful, friendly, and cheery. The oold mansion had many unique features.

I was familiar with this hotel having stayed there many times before

I did not like the fact that they no longer serve food in the evenings I was also very upset to learn that the propietor had died two years before as I liked him I was unaware of this having been ill myself and unable to visit

The bar was very understocked, We could not sit down and relax with a drink that we liked, there was no Barcardi, no magners cider, we told him that is our choice but no one thought of getting any in the bar

Hotel could do with a re-fresh. Bathroom had shower attachment but no fitting on the wall or shower curtain which meant crouching in the bath to take a shower or having a bath.

I enjoyed the large airy bedroom with its good en-suite and I liked the atmosphere of the dining room and the well cooked food.
