Noise Lack of warning re building site The fact a letter was sent on 16/04/13- after we booked our rooms and yet we weren't informed of the disturbance from 10pm-2 am The fact we called the sales office THREE TIMES and no one called back. The smell in the apartment when we arrived which meant we had to buy air freshners & scented candles Experience was incredibly poor

No notice of noise from nearby site that was operating overnight, there was however a letter in the room dated before I made the booking from the main contractor carrying out the works nearby that noise was to be expected overnight. They should of told us about the letter either when we booked or immediately afterwards

Location, of course- brilliant for City Centre and the Stations. Short walk through city for ICC and NIA. Secure, clean, private and comfy Guess some might be annoyed by the building works at New St. Station opposite- I was here Tuesday-Sunday, and was not disturbed in the slightest!

Still think you could easily install a full length mirror, and I've mentioned before about the lack of "welcome items"

I should have been given information that the building development behind New St Station was going on 24hrs. VERY noisy. Difficult to sleep

Nice apartment, largeish, clean, well appointed. Self service checkin went smoothly, location perfect for new street, not too much street noise. Would go again.

It was ok location

The address that you are given via the email after the booking is incorrect so be aware that you will probably be driving an extra hour to find the place! And the email service is ridiculous, I file a complaint and they just ignore it. You have to do all of your washing up and take your own rubbish out even though you are paying £66 a night!!

The walls was very fin can hear every one else who was staying there.

Great little apartment ideal for work and leisure. Absolutely loved the layout.

Very poorly sound proofed from other residents and serious large scale building work going on continuously directly outside apartment.

There really was NOTHING I could say against this accomodation!! Just possibly a slightly more comprehensive welcome pack- a bit of cake or two? lol

I liked the size of the rooms,

I did ask for a view wich i didnt get. It looked nothing like the pictures on the internet. But it was still comftable and nice. the only thing that really concerd me was that i woke up with a rash on my elbow from sleeping on the bed.

Had to wait 1 and a half hours to get into room, really stressed!

Easy access apartments, very close to the Bullring. Small, but comfy apartment. Would stay again.

Did get locked out of the apartments at one point, as codes change at midnight. Had to ring the helpline. Others staying at the apartments were very noisy, you could hear them through the walls. Not really ideal for young children.

instruction on availability of restaurants for breakfast should be available. Phone extension not available. as the construction work on the station was on, there was a lot of disturbance.

The bed in the apartment was highly sub standard for a 4 star apartment, the mattress was very thin and springs were highly apparent, the pillows were also very thin. Hardly slept a wink and was forced to find alternative accommodation for the second night of our stay at cost as there was no way the bed was going to become more useable. I did call the "helpline" but they were not prepared to do anything to assist. The only mirror in the apartment was in the bathroom were the lighting was poor, not much use for getting ready to go out also the toilet seat wouldn't stay up which made using the loo very awkward. Alot of noise from the other apartments and due to the wooden floors we could hear the people above us every time they were moving around. The building site across the road wasn't much of a view either. Definately would not return.

Lovely modern apartment. Studio was very spacious. Much cheaper than an equivalent room in a hotel.

It's nice to have your own kitchen, and if the people who restructure uk railway systems thought for 12 seconds about pedestrians (or if the construction ever ends) it would be convenient for Birmingham New Street. Double glazing was good & generally private. Could be nice if you want something small, dark & private & you weigh 8 stone or less.

The people who restructure uk railway systems never ever think for 12 seconds about pedestrians, so all the stairs up to the station (from station road!) are blocked at the same time, so you have a choice of two long insalubrious routes to the station despite having construction workers only a few meters away from your 3rd floor windows from 8am. The room was nothing like the picture, very small & dark, the couch & bed were cheap, soft & uncomfortable. By the third night I & my partner had very sore backs & necks from the bed sagging beneath us, despite never normally having any problems with our backs. Also, not being a hotel there was no "do not disturb" sign so we got walked in on when we were undressed one afternoon by the service woman! Though she was quite polite about it.

Nice little apartment,which is on the doorstep to the main train station, mailbox and bullring.

the bed could have done with a headrest as i kept losing pillows down the gap.

Extremely noisy neighbours repeatedly trying to gain access to next door by means of shouting at the tops of their voices over the course of an hour between 2 and 3 in the morning. The extensive building site opposite. I think this is the expansion of New St Station and looks likely to continue for 2 years plus. Work starts at 8.00am with incredibly loud crashes and bangs (imagine articulated lorries being dropped from 100ft). I presume it doesn't happen on Sundays but wouldn't guarantee it. If you're here for business this is not too bad as you will be up. If you're here after a show and would like to lie in after going to bed late it's a deal breaker. Brilliant apartment, nice location, not too unreasonable a price, appalling environment.
