The location was ideal. Hotel was clean and staff were very polite.

Room size was roughly 8 sq. meters including bathroom.

We based ultimate decision on combination of price and location and this represented excellent value. We booked deluxe double and we were upgraded to a 'club executive' which is apparently their largest room. At this it was still tiny, with just enough room to walk around the bed with 2 suitcases on the floor. However, it was nicely decorated, clean, free internet connection, flat screen TV, coffee/tea set up. Bathroom was modern. Hotel in easy access of 2 tube lines, and one block from Queensway, with ample restaurants and shopping, and one block from Hyde Park. For 2 people, their car service represented good value to Heathrow - comfortable, clean, smooth ride

Although there was space for a small frig, the room did not have one. With this addition, it would come close to perfect. Additionally, I would have liked softer pillows.

Tiniest rooms I have ever been to, noting that I am a frequent traveller. Even their club rooms are still very small, and it is a pity to call them Club rooms. I stayed at the club room at the Best Western Shafterbury Kensington, and their club double room was almost 4 times that of the Hyde Park ! Also, they requested an advance payment of the whole stay, although that was not mentioned on the reservation confirmation at Booking.com, and when I called Booking.com they were quite upset with the hotel rules. The person at the reception was quite rude, and strict about the advance payment. The only thing is that he upgraded me for a one night to the club room, which made things less worse.

Clean hotel, quite good location.

Very unfriendly and unreliable staff. Everything you asked for, they couldn't do it. But that is the indian mentality I guess. Even though we boooked, confirmed and paid one single and one twin deluxe room, they claimed at check in they only had double rooms, however they could arrange a Twin for another 40£!! What a rip off.... Breakfast is awful, don't pay 11,95 for it, go out instead.

Location is the only positive

Our room can only be described as a 'single' with a 3/4 size bed crammed in! I would liken this experience to camping when you remember climbing over each other to go to the loo in the middle of the night. And this was described as an 'executive double' so goodness knows what a standard is like, probably the broom cupboard!! Never again!!

I liked the proximity to Paddington station.

The room was sold as a deluxe double and on arrival we were told "we were the unlucky ones" and the room was no longer available. After a long wait were given a taxi to another hotel in the chain in a similar area. We were told initially that there were no deluxe doubles left, so this was a double. On arrival, the room was far smaller than the deluxe promised, had toenails on the carpet, and poor quality furniture. Very disappointing!! On a second phone call to complain we were assured this was a deluxe room and no discounts apply. We would not recommend this hotel.

Well equiped rooms (tiny as usually in London :-), nice, modern, well designed and new (except the bed in our room). Tha bathroom was good sized, and really modern, good shower. Very clean, close to metro and Hyde Park/Kensington Park. Good wireless internet, friendly staff.

The bed could be better, however we could sleep.

room was really small but to gather to this problem, the bed was a queen size that for a single is ok. there was no space for everything but was warm, clean, comfortable, quiet. good staff, really good price and less than 100 mt from bayswater tube station. perfect for a business trip.

Clean hotel/room, friendly staff, close to the bus or tube station, 15 min away from the shopping boulevards.

Small rooms, not really a 4 star hotel, but a 3 plus.

Very close to the Bayswater tube station, which is on the Circle line making it very easy to get to major attractions.

The room was very very small and the daily cleaning service was minimal. Our tissues were never replaced after we ran out the first day. Aside from that though, the rooms were reasonably clean and worked well for our needs (a place to lie our heads at night after busy days of site seeing).
