Shaftesbury Hyde Park International

There should be a minimum of cm2, for someone to define a room as a "deluxe double" room. There wasn't enough space for two people to stand. One should stay in bed, so that the other one could dress himself.

My second time, paid more this time and realised that I had been 'upgraded' to a Club Room last time and this one. I paid more this time and so my sense of great value was less than previously. Still a nice room, well appointed.

No secondary glazing and I was on frint this time- a bit noisy...not too bad for London. Not helped by major roadworks outside.

Room size very small and Reception staff very rude and unco-operative. Also had room next to lift shaft which was very noisy

The location is nice in Qeensway. Next to a tube station and a street full of restaurants and grocery shops.

The room is small and doesn't even have a fridge. it wasn't cleaned properly when I checked in as it has so many paper bags and bills from previous people who stayed int eh room. The walls paper covers as scratched and peeled in some areas and the bathroom is soooo small.

I thought the rooms where comfortable and well maintained. The staff friendly and the location excellent

Our room was very comfortable and clean. It had all the facilities including tea and coffee in our room that we desired..Also free internet access.

The reception staff was not so friendly or willing to help.

The room was very clean, staff was very helpful and kindly. Tube is very close to hotel, neighbourhood was safe.

We came late in the evening, and even we made reservation, all rooms were busy, there wasn¨t room for us. They sent us to another hotel, and next morning when we came back, we got our room. Good thing is they paid our cab which took us to another hotel, and brought us back, and we got breakfast gratis.

The position of this hotel was great...very near to Bayswater Tube as well as many resaturants, coffee shops, souvenir shops and small supermarkets. Walking distance to Kensington Palace and Hyde park. Clean and fresh with good helful staff.

This hotel though renovated and clean and with new fittings, had tiny ,tiny basic rooms with the double bed pushed up against a wall and no room for 2 large suitcases. Great for a single businessman or a couple for a weekend stay with small bags. Book the Club Room if you want some space!
