The location is good, the room was very clean. The staff is good.
the room was very small
The service, the acess to central line, quiet, nice area, cheap!
The room was tiny
Location, staff and cleanliness
The mattress. It is poor and you should change it.
Some of the staff were helpful
It is far from touristic attractions and City center. Not close to underground station. My room was very small without enough lighting. Can never open the window as it was in the basement looking some sort of a corridor. A lot of noise coming from a service room in the basement and the entrance of the hotel. The pillows and mattress are not comfortable. Cleanliness was not as expected
Staff, room, location
Nicely decorated Good location
The check in staff The size of the room is tiny
Sink pipe had a massive leak which leaked all over the floor, curtains fell and mattress sunk all the way to boxspring!! All this occured within 2 mins of entering room! Not to mention both deluxe and club rooms are the size of a jail-cell!! Shop around; youll be happy ya did! Staff did upgrade us to club room but as i stated not much different in size.
Very thick blanket
Hotel was lovely and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was close to tube stations which made it easy to get around London and see the sights.
The room was very small and the view from the window was not great however the point of our trip was not to stay in the hotel but explore London so we didn't mind.
everything room - too small - box room. bedding not clean, blood stains on sheets. no remote for tv. bedside lamp not working - actually quite dangerous as when you touched the cable light went on and off. no chair in room to sit down. would have had better value in B&B could not walk around bed. had to climb on bed to open window. not sure how they made up beds as could not walk around it. mattress old and worn - not comfortable. no water pressure with shower.
Staff very helpful, lovely location and lovely room
Too hot even with air conditioning on
Hard pillows and too many
Hotel was situated only a couple of streets away from the tube station and Kensington Gardens. Situated in a very posh area. No riff raff. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
The pictures on booking.com were very misleading. I voiced my complaint to the receptionist only to be told that it wasn't their problem. The room I actually got was the size of a closet. Although tastefully decorated, you could not swing a cat inside. There was no room to open my suitcase or for storage. It's obvious that the hotel is best suited for an overnight stay for a business man. The bathroom was very nice, although exceptionally small. And when I mean small, I mean... small. It's a one person occupancy. Reminiscent of an airline toilet. Honestly, you couldn't turn or move in the shower or the bathroom itself. The shower ceiling had a hole in it which was unacceptable for a hotel boasting quality and class. Wi-fi was average. When it worked, the average speed was ample to browse the web, but nothing else. I voiced my complaint to the staff about the quality of the signal. I was given the usual runaround, which was a mix of broken english and nonsense. Finally, the elevator is a death trap waiting to happen. When I arrived, the elevator was temporarily being serviced which was my first clue. Multiple times upon entering inside the elevator, it would get stuck on the floor of choice refusing to open the doors. Only to be met with a clunk, and an eventual return to the default floor. Very disconcerting for safety.
The friendliness of the staff
The pressure of the shower too slow
Location to tube, friendly helpful staff, very clean
Rooms were very small
nice staff and clean
noisy small room, hot but you can't open the window because massive noise from some machines outside, get room in basement, tv wasn't working. air con was strait into my face when lie on bed so woke up with headache and sore troatch, slept maby an hour!!! even pillow was uncomfy!!!
Nice room..staff great....
Being told on arrival that we had to stay at another hotel which just isnt good enough....i was about to cancel..only to b told that a room was avalible???...this should never happen..and will think twice when re. Booking...
We enjoyed our week at this hotel. Directly opposite a green space on a quiet street in Nothing Hill. An easy cycle to Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace on cheap city cycles. Short walk to the tube. The local Cafes are expensive but we were expecting this given the location. Nice hotel staff and comfortable room - not big, but again that was expected given it's London.
Location is very central near metro stations and buses.
I booked a deluxe room in a 4 star hotel. It was neither. The room was in the basement! Right outside the window was a generator of some sort that created big noise throughout the night. It was impossible to sleep. Closing the window the noise was reduced but the heat in the room was unbearable. It was the first time I was "afraid" to return to the room after a full day of sightseeing. Last but not least, it was the smallest room possible. I only had a backpack with me and still was not able to move around the room. It was the first time I ever asked for a room transfer which they accepted and moved me the last night (I spent 2 nights without being able to rest and sleep properly). In the last night they moved me to the 4th floor. The room was descent and no generator outside. I had no problem with the new room but it was no 4stars though (which is not an issue if you don't advertise/charge it as one). Another thing I noticed is that when I went to the 4th the WIFI became painfully slower for some reason! If you are lucky to get one of the "good" rooms you will have a descent night's sleep. Otherwise you will not enjoy your vacation at all...Who can if there is no rest at night?
I like the way the room was decorated and laid out, impeccable attention to detail; it was clean, and we had a very comfortable night's stay.
The room is definitely booked out for guests to just sleep in as there was hardly any room to move about.
Very small rooms, overpriced, shaky internet connection
I booked a standard room and it was very small. Infact the room was the width of a double bed, however given the price you cant expect more
The staff were great and the room was superb and the location was great for getting in to Central London. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great Location Room was clean Friendly staff
Rooms are small
We got a free upgrade which was great. Rooms were clean, bathroom was pretty big and had loads of good utilities
Quite pricey but you would expect that for the location
