Room facilities were good, such as hairdryer, microwave, iron and tea facilities. Location was quite good as well. However, rooms are very very very small. We had room in basement and window was very small and noisy because of the pipes outside. Our TV was broken and we asked staff to sort this problem for 2 days. First they said that they cant do much for that moment and ask to come again next day and at the next day they just took the remote and didn't come back. We gave up and lived other days without TV. Room internet was kept on going off which was very annoying. We had microwave in our room but not the fridge, but i think the second we would need much more. Bathroom was very small and the handle was broken, although we asked to fix it they didn't do even that.Cleaners always gave us evil looks. Rooms smelled like rot, there wasn't fresh air and the corridor always was very hot although it was 17 degrees outside. I would never recommend this hotel to people with claustrophobia.

Very comfortable room; excellent location - central but very quiet. I found it challenging to use the sink - everything else about this tiny room worked wonderfully, but I couldn't really wash my face without splashing onto the floor.

Only staff If you want to be disappointed, this is the place. If you need the wii fi, go to the lobby and keep listening all the guest complaining in the reception. The worst hotel I have been hosteling. I can't understand how this hotel is 4 stars. Small rooms, small, small and small.

Beautiful area and good location for eating/site seeing. Rooms were nicely appointed w/newer large screen television units. Rooms were too small. We were in the basement area with no view and sound of machinery when windows were open. Staff failed to give us a wake-up call after we requested one. Then told us they did make the call. We barely made our plane at Heathrow. I would not stay again.

Location was lovely, gorgeous really... and so convenient. light shopping nearby for any forgotten necessities, bicycles offered as well, close to transport. All in all, perfect. We felt so blessed to be in such a tranquil little neighborhood with such beautifully kept buildings yet a stone's throw from all we came to London to see! ? everything was lovley... room size was small, but expected given that every single, solitary thing in England is :)

We found the staff to be very friendly. The hotel was in a convenient location. Our biggest complaint was that for a hotel of its caliber, it did not have a decent bed. They called it a double, but it was actually a standard sized bed. I am 6'2" and my feet hung out over the end of the bed. The mattress was lumpy as well.

Good location. Reasonable price. We got room 009, a so called club room, quite small, which was refurbished for people with disabilities and a bit uncomfortable to us. The bed was small.

The manager was very courteous, helpful and responsive. He made several arrangements for us (bus tour and airport transportation) and provided good information for our daily sightseeing outings. Staff was friendly and responsive. The bed offered very little support. The excercise room was disappointing - a very small room with 2 cardio machines and no room for anything else - barely qualified as an excercise facility on site as advertised. Breakfast offer of 12.99 GBP if booked in advance was overpriced so we did not get it. All local restaurants had the same breakfast for half the price. Having said all that, it was still a good value for the price, had good service and an excellent location.

Front desk staff was great. Location is great. Short walk to 2 underground stations. Quiet location. Not far from paddington station if you choose to take Heathrow express from the airport. (9-10 pound cab ride to hotel) plenty of shops on nearby Queensway. Single traveler never felt uncomfortable walking to hotel coming in late after seeing shows. Rooms are small but typical of central London.

Staff sorted out any issues that I had immediately and I landed on an international flight and the room was ready for check in at 8 am in the morning even though the check in time was 2pm Staff friendly Room was very small but if you are simply there for business its fine. If I was staying there on holiday would have been more of an issue

I arrived late to find that the breakfast room (small tables in a basement) was not suitable for the business breakfast I had arranged the following morning. Staff promptly offered to serve us breakfast in the lounge adjacent to reception, and this worked very well. Thanks!

nice hotel, nice helpful friendly staff, hotel in a nice quiet location The single rooms were the size of a small shoe box! The view out of the window was of the huge heating or air conditioning pipes, they were very noisy and not nice to look at!

Price was lower on a special, location is good, close to Hyde Park and several Underground lines, room was spotlessly clean. Aircon was not working so room was boiling hot on arrival, staff gave us portable ventilator which made things a little better. Still, aircon was advertised as part of the room and wasn't there - until the morning we checked out! Room and bathroom were tiny. View out the only window onto a ventilation shaft.

Price and location. The exterior of the hotel looked impressive. The room was appointed with modern amenities. The "fitness" room was terrible.
