Shaftesbury Metropolis London Hyde Park

Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja palvelu oli sujuvaa. Hotelli oli tyylikkäästi sisustettu ja näytti laadukkaalta. Huone oli hiljainen ja pienestä koostaan huolimatta huone oli hintansa arvoinen. Muhkeista tyynyistä, peitosta ja suuresta taulu tv:stä plussaa.

Käytävät ovat hieman sokkeloiset ja huoneen sijainnista riippuen matkalaukkuja saattaa joutua kuljettamaan pieniä portaita ylös ja alas. Huone jonka saimme oli todella pieni (double), matkalaukkua ei saanut auki lattialla vaan se oli avattava sängyn päällä.

Vastinetta rahoille, maksoimme £52-70 / yö ja hyvin siisti huone vaikka pieni. Hyvä sijainti tullessa Oxfordista, Paddington juna-asemasta ehkä puoli kilometriä. Ilmainen netti-kone aulassa.

Aamianen kallis, £15, mutta sopi meille erittäin hyvin syödä vähän myöhäisempi aamiainen keskustassa. Huone tosi pieni, katu tasolla ja ikkunat englantilaista laatueristystä. Katu oli onneksi tosi rauhallinen ja huone oli hintaansa nähden hyvä.

Huone oli siisti ja varusteltu, henkilökunta ystävällistä ja sijainti minulle sopiva.

Mielestäni ei 4 tähden, huone oli todella pieni ja pimeä, äänieristys huono ja aamuisin siivous- ym. meteliä.

Rauhallinen,siisti pikku hotelli. Jossa oli lisämaksusta ihan hyvä aamiainen. Kohtelias henkilökunta.

The hotel was close to Central London, and was close to the Heathrow Express.

Double room is too small. No tooothbrush and toothpaste, and face towel in the bathroom. No chair to sit on in the room.

Staff were friendly and helpfull, dealt with a complaint that the TV didn't work and offered a complimentary breakfast as an apology

no fridge in the room. Gym very tiny although equipped OK - but the equipment needed servicing!

rooms are too small, too many narrow corridors that can't fit the bags. Location and cleanliness was good.

Location is great. Very close to edgeward road and oxford str. Staff were very helpful.

The single room is too too small. Room size was 2.5 X 3 meters. Bath room is too small also 1.5 x 2 meters.

Reception staff were polite, I think they need to be more frendly. Good knowlage of the area to recomend restaurants, things to do. They need to be more proactive with the guest. They are just correct. Hospitlity makes a big difference.

The hotel is conveniently situated between Paddington and Edgeware Road stations. Nice lobby, clean rooms, attentive staff. Nice flat TV in the room. Electric pot with tea supplies in the room. Good WiFi coverage. Elevator (though I did not need it).

Miniscule rooms - no place for the suitcase. The door of the toilet hits the bed, no space to walk around the bed. There's a wired internet connection, but the table is too small to accommodate a laptop - luckily WiFi coverage is good. For 100+ pounds per night (without breakfast!) I'd expect more comfort.

Straightforward service; all helpful & courteous.

No service room service or facilities, as i was told by the staff, there is a pub round the corner! i was upgraded, so i would have hated to see the standard of the room that i paid £199 for?

The room although small was very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. I would stay there again. Bed linen was spotless and the room was quiet.

I would have liked breakfast to be included in the price of £79 per night. £15 extra to pay for breakfast I thought too much and went out locally for much less. Apart from this I really thought this a good hotel for the money.
