Position and staff friendlyness. The room was very noisy from street and traffic activity, especially during the night.

Cheapest hotel this close to Piccadilly, which was where my conference was based. Perfectly pleasant staff and surroundings. One of the narrow swing doors was difficult to get through with a case. But that's nit-picking really!

Clean, quiet and close to shops, theatre and tube stations. The view was abysmal, the net curtains needed a wash, but it was ok for our needs, breakfast would have been very expensive should we have chosen to eat at the hotel.

Location was excellent-staff was helpful we were on top floor- very busy area (great if you're there for the bar/nightlife and want to walk easily back to hotel), very noisy at night and windows do not block sound. Bathroom is awkward...you have to be an acrobatic to climb into shower...and go to toilet Room very tiny....they claim free wireless...but this is only in the lobby, otherwise wireless not available Very old and could use a spruce up...this would not go into the 4 star rating, except for location. Everything is very worn

I would like to thank the staff, they were very polite and helpful. It was a bargain, especially for the location (which incidentally doesnt look great). But it was a haven and the room was fabulous, and the bathroom wonderful. Unlike most west end hotels, the room was really spacious. A real find!!

Good all round, although sounded like I had some sort of huge air-conditioning unit near the room (5th Floor) which made it vibrate slightly as if on an aircraft.

The best thing about this hotel was its location, it's walking distance to most theaters, also close to Picidilly and Leister sq. Quite expensive for what we got really.. A nice room but it was pretty small. Breakfast was good but it cost an extra £12 each...

Location, right in the heart of theatreland and good for my meetings in Soho. Excellent breakfast - and breakfast staff. Shabby reception area, with rotting signboard outside. Only one lift. Narrow corridors. Rooms very variable in quality, so worth checking out too (E.G. I had a bath, my son only had a shower).

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel apart from the fact that our room [404] was far too small and that the stains on the lamp shade and ceiling were a bit off-putting.

lovely room, very comfy, convenient location, very clean, friendly staff. did not have food so cannot comment. we were given a room at the front of the hotel. one big problem with this was the noise of traffic and clubs from outside. we did not get any sleep all night. it was too noisy. our air conditoning also did not work and it was very hot in the room and too loud to open the window. to go back again we would request a room at the back of the hotel, if they wont give us one we will not be going back.
