I did not stay at the hyde park premier london paddington, which I had selected mostly for the location near the station. When we arrived we were told that they had some construction problems and they would be sending us to a different hotel from the same chain at Kensington. They made sure we paid first and when we got to the other hotel we understood why the insistence that we paid at the one at Paddington. The Kensington hotel was inferior in location and features. What both hotels had in common was bad service. Bad service, unfair treatment, if for any reason a hotel can not satisfy the client´s reservations because of overbooking or remodeling (excuse that did not sound sincere) the client is usually given the same category or better rooms never a worse one, avoid this hotel chain.

It was reasonably close to where I needed to go and close to Paddington Station. The bathroom, although small was modern and clean The rooms are very small. It is billed as a 4* but it is much closer to a 2-3*. The bed was lumpy, the fittings in the room need replacement.

The location was good. Underground only a few minutes walk away, ideal for shopping trips. Staff at reception are polite, but have no information about the area. Pride of Paddington down the road is ok and reasonable for food! Moved from 3 rroms within the first 15minutes because I was afraid, you would swing a cat in any! No safety deposit box, when we did get one, we couldn't get our stuff out (passports, money etc) for a few hours until a mainteance worker came. Rooms are absolutely TINY, don't think booking a club room will help. Double was bigger that the club. Feels like a low budget hotel, nothing like it's advertisement. Breakfast room looked grotty, so didn't even chance breakfast... Thank God!

Rooms far too hot. Staff service terrible. Nowhere in the hotel to really just get coffee or a drink. I asked for a taxi and the porter, rather than hailing one, got a very expensive private car. General apathy among all who worked there. Did not enjoy.

The room was perfect. Many reviews I read before said the rooms were too small-well what's important to you... Being close to Central London or having a large room you only sleep in? Also, many reviews mentioned the noise from the tube...I Am assuming they were on the bottom floor because we never heard a thing. Also, wifi is only available in the common area room by the lobby--we had room 101 directly above the lobby so we were luckily able to pick it up :) The quality of the room was excellent and would definitely stay there again!

I liked nothing about the Hyde Park Premier London Paddington Hotel staffs need to learn customer service skills, my flight duration was more than seven hours, the receptionist for a reservation fault the receptionist insisted that I call booking.com and sort out the fault, which could be resolved by the hotel itself, after two hours I received keys to my room. the picture for executive room is deceptive, much smaller than it appears in the pictures. AC works but not effective, room is very hot; staffs could not do anything about it. Safe box did not work and staffs could not help, toilet is very small good for kids less than 15 years old but definitely not for adults

For the price the rooms were v small.the first room I was in was in a basement with no natural light. At 2 am there was afire alarm- no fire brigade came and the staff merely said that it must be a mistake without any checks. In view of the basement rooms being deathtraps I was not reassured. The Internet service was barely existent. Disappointed

Unfortunatly I find this hotel have worst management in all hotels. When I arrived there they transfered me to another hotel and also they transfered me again so I waste my time moving between these hotels. Second, there is no internet access in my room even some guests were upset.

Location to Hyde Park for the Hard Rock Calling Festival Reception staff were obnoxious, and had little respect or empathy for our reason for booking that particular hotel. After a sly snigger to each other, they tried to move us to a sister hotel across town, although continued to check in other guests. Only after standing our ground and searching the internet for other hotels did they allow us to check in.

Nothing!!!! Everything!!! Very bad hotel. 1- The ac conditioning was off and then they moved me to another room that you can’t switch the ac off. 2- Very noisy hotel. 3- No safety box. 4- The staff didn't help me for my luggage before checking in. 5- the window has a broken corner that leak.6- The size of the first room was vey vey small. 7- I have one big bag I had no room for it. 8- The housekeeping leave the changing towels on the way in a very dirty way, and many more. I'll never stay in it I prefer stay outdoor rather than live in it. Very bad hotel!!! Very bad experience.

The neighborhood was good. It was pretty quiet most of the time. The bathroom had a towel rack heater which was nice for drying off garments. The cleanliness of the room was not maintained. Floors weren't vacuumed. Sheets were not replaced regularly, ours had blood stain in it. We had to take it out in disgust. The room was really cramped, barely enough space to walk around. The beds were horrible! My fiancé and I had bad aches on the second night. Lastly, the air-condition was not working. It might be worth paying that extra $200 to chose a better hotel.

the double room is too small to be categorize as 'Executive Room'. We had guaranteed booking but ends up on another hotel (45minutes by taxi) for the 1st night because no more room available. We arrive Hyde Park hotel at 11pm and only got to room at the other hotel 2am next day. The front desk staff seem ignorance about the booking and the system.
