It was a convenient location for my visit to Bedford where I was seeing old friends. It was quiet A tiny room showing signs of wear and tear. Bedlight not working. Tables not laid for breakfast, with detritus from previous evening's party on several tables. Slow breakfast service |

I enjoyed the central location as it fit my needs and the majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were not maintained very well with the main problems being encountered with the washing facilities, although the staff did say they would look into it. |

Nothing. Unfortunately although we were theere on a special occasion for us, our entire stay was an unmitigated disaster. Bad room - stains?watermarks on ceiling; loose tap on handbasin; plaster dust and bits of masonry on floor by head of bed etc. Also the food service was dreadful - we waited 45 minutes for soup, which was our second choice as the one we requested was 'off''. |

The staff were pleasant and dealt with problems as they arose. I stayed on the weekend, and it was almost empty, and lights in the hall were often off in the morning, meaning I had to grope my way along a dark hallway. This did not make it feel like a particularly safe environment for a woman travelling alone. |

Close enough to walk into Bedford. Our two rooms had an adjoining door which was good The have been warned that there was a wedding reception taking place would have been nice as it was very noisy until 1am and our rooms were next to the function room. There was no control over the underfloor heating and so the rooms were very warm with barely any fresh air |
