The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The bed was clean and comfortable. The bus stop was close to the Hotel. Allin all good value.
The noise of the planes was the worst thing but I live in a quiet area normally.
Free car parking Friendly, hospitable staff Rooms had basics and was clean Ideal base for touring Breakfast included
Proximity to destination we required. Staff were polite and fairly helpful.
Shower was a bit poor. No plug for sink. Decor needed updating. Breakfast hours are later at the weekend which meant we had to leave before eating despite having paid for the priviledge.
Staff, room, breakfast
The location was poor. Rude people, nothing local. The resturants were really bad. The staff in the hotel were dismisive. The walls had plaster hanging from them. Wish i just didnt go
The mould on the walls, the springs in my back, the curtains held up with string, the door wouldn't lock, the bathroom had no lock... Need I go on?
Breakfast is good The staff are helpful
noise from other rooms
The breakfast was really good, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Altogether, we had a really nice time in the hotel.
Our main dislike was the location, it seemed to be quite an unsafe and unfriendly area. A lot of shouting in the middle of the street and a lot of people driving carelessly. So we avoided being out too late. The only negative thing about the hotel itself was how dirty a couple of the sheets were, but they happily changed them even though it was the middle of the night.
location and price
not comfy at all and walpaper ripped, very low pressure shower , car park enterance very tight hard to get in my range rover
Breakfast and attitude of staff was good. Also very convenient to Town Centre..
Nobody at the Shalimar has bad intensions but there is no interest or money to bring the place back to a higher performance level, a bucket of paint and there and there a new carpet, toilet seat or lamp would definitely help!
Staff OK breakfast Reception
2 single bed bases broke in triple room.Shower pressure non existent. Wall paper peeling off wall.Toilet seat detached on the floor.Mould in shower and in room.A plane landing every 3 minutes very very loud. Cigarette burns in bed clothes. I would never ever recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
The hotel room was so hot that our whole family struggled to sleep. There was a fan but was only circulating warm air. Even our 1 and 4 year old struggled with the heat. Bathroom mold and bits of pipes were all exposed
I Liked the helpfulness of the staff
My room was stinking of cigarette smoke and I hate the smell of cigarettes. The Duvet covers and window blinds needed a good clean. The Hotel generally needs to be revamped throughout
Room OK, but in general the hotel was very rundown and dirty looking.
Great full breakfast included, reasonably close to Heathrow, OK for an O'night.
Top floor room, narrow stairs not easy to negotiate with luggage. A low hum ventilation? system noise all night. Hot summer room, no window opening.
Shabby place.Poor breakfast,no choices between "english "and "english",made from tin.No care for silence.Just a transit place for one night when every other place is occupied.
good, budget hotel
party at the weekend until midnight
rooms were cleaned every day with new coffee etc. reasonably clean and a large room double for a good price in london. staff polite.
wifi was intermittent. thin walls between adjacent rooms meant you could hear everything - so bring earplugs.
Very thin walls, noisy outside. The room was clean but very basic and not very nice - burned carpet etc.
Room and bathroom was clean and tidy. I had a fridge in my room.
This kind of builiding (interior) shouldn't be used for hotel. It's just like a typical english house feeling, dark and narrow spaces. I paid 50 pounds/night, which is bit expensive for this "lodge" feeling.
Dirty rooms, nothing working in the bathroom, front desk staff bluffing customers, terrible road noise
cute room with shower facilities.
Room was really hot.
Location to Twickenham and airport
No Parking. In the room, the wardrobe could not be used. Was dirty (Tissues) and looked like a store room for hotel. The TV did not even work. Small thing like having a bath plug in the basin. Paid to much for the room to be honest.
