Shandwick Hotel and Suites

ロケーションとホテルスタッフと朝食が最高でした。このような好立地で、こんなにもお安く泊まれ、しかも朝- 食が一流ホテルのように美味しくて（熱々の焼き立てスクランブルエッグが◎！！）、さらにスタッフが皆さん- 素晴らしく親切なんて、あり得ないです！！最高としか言いようがないです。トイレ・シャワー・キッチンは共- 同でしたが、この共同キッチンがまた良かったです。電子レンジ・冷蔵庫はもちろん、コーヒー・紅茶・お菓子- が常備されていて、とても良かったです。

ホテルを発見しづらいこと。それから、ロビーまでに長い階段があること。もっとも、チェックアウト後は、ホ- テルスタッフの方がスーツケースを持って降りて下さいました。

not a lot what was advertised did not live up to what we got window view was a brick wall, location was all that was ok for my business event

advertised hotel was infact "apartments" and i class that very loosely bathroom had a bath that was shared bath had a shower head attachment that did not work no shower curtain no room to swing a cat very poor indeed would not recommend at all even to my worst enemy

The only positive things are the location and the price to be honest. its somewhere to leave your bags and spend the shortest amount of time in

breakfast comes in a bag - something which should be explained upon booking, or at the least when you check in

Bland poor entrance better off in travel lodge

People are intent on giving this hotel a bad review based upon the fact that it isn't as good as the Sheraton up the road! Well, the truth of the matter is that you aren't going to find another hotel this close to the centre of Edinburgh for the money... You get what you pay for and so in terms of value for money, this hotel tops the lot!

Ok, it's shabby, grubby in (many) places and can feel as if you've just signed yourself in to some eastern european hostel; but other than that it's fine...

Having a room to stay in and friendly staff.

Other residents very noisy in the early hours of the morning & banging of doors woke me up several times. The heating in the room was very poor. The 'continental' breakfast was not explained on the internet (where I made the booking) or to me the night before. I asked at reception in the morning where to go with the ticket for breakfast and was given a bag with the 'breakfast' in. I was surprised and extremely disappointed. I had no facilities to make a hot drink in my room, and with an intolerance to milk and additives in the juice and no choice available for alternatives I did not accept the 'breakfast in a bag'. This 'breakfast' is totally miss sold on your website, not what I was expecting, and totally overpriced.

The hotel had the luxury of being very close to all public transport.

rude staff who I had to ask questions of rather than them offer information (e.g. 'how do I get back into the building at night?'); had to request heating to be turned on in room; cold showers; terrible breakfast; noisy guests.

It is a cheap hotel in a centre of the city which is accessible easily.

Small bed and thin duvet. Breakfast is a packed bag and brought to the room to prepare myself.

Good kitchen, if ones want to cook their own food. Very large rooms and bathrooms. Excellent location to Castle, shopping and transport (railway station and airport shuttle).

No elevators.
