THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE BEDROOMS WERE CLEAN AND THE SERVICE AT BREAKFAST WAS CHEERFUL AND FAST NO HANGING AROUND. BUT NO PRESSURE TO LEAVE THE TABLE. IT WAS AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE.
Room with a balcony and beach view. Great location and ample parking. Room rate was reasonable.
Would have liked to be able to access the wifi in the room
Position to seafront
No shower, view to hotel at the side of us
Location was great! Breakfast was very good value for money.
Rooms were small but clean - bathrooms were not good at all though. There was no shower in the room just a bath (with nothing to use to wash yourself) and not in a great condition at all!! For the price I was expecting something much better.
I found the staff to be very helpful as much as the facilities available would allow them.
The room was in poor decorative order, and vey small. For some strange reason the room remained very hot even with the window opened. The heating was not in either. The room looked as if it had been decorated circa 1980. Shower had no power, but at least it was warm. Dog pop to the left hand side of the allocated car park was an unpleasant site. Sure you know the culprit as CCTV is in place. A thoughtful low cost refurbishment would be the making of this place as the location is good. Allowing longer for the morning breakfast one hour with a full hotel is somewhat hard to absorb.
No air con No phone in The room. No phone reception
Everything about the hotel was excellent.
I could not find any fault with the hotel.
perfect location (it's on the beach) great sea view, very comfortable beds, good size of the room
The staff were excellent. Location couldn't have been better. Parking available at the back of the hotel was brilliant. Good location on the island. Couldn't be closer to the beach if we wanted to be.
Our first room needed a bit of work done to it but the hotel is apparently about to be refurbished. The beds could have been a bit little bit more comfy but I would go back.
Only good thing about this hotel is its location.
Bathroom very small, no pressure on water taps, no phone in the room.
location, clean, our waitress very efficient, some poor
no shampoo, breakfast tables laid out like school. no staff at reception. resident bar shut at 11.00 pm. Rooms too hot, no fans
Central location overlooking the beech. Balcony gave wonderful views and opertunity to relax and enjoy the sun. Food good if basic, and excellent value for money. The staf made us feel very welcome, would certainly visit again.
- nice view - spacious - clean - good breakfast - kind staff
- no air condition - very small bathroom - breakfast and dinner only for I hour window... - small tv.. (Approx 18 inc)
The room was gorgeous over looking the sea with a balcony
No shower or a fan in the summer??
The rooms were well located and very comfortable.
I liked the room over looking the beach that my brother had.
I didn't like the fact that I paid the same amount for an inferior room overlooking a car park that was very small. Whereas my brother had a massive room over looking the beach. This annoyed me greatly.
Relaxing stay. Hotel very clean and staff go out of their way to help in any way.
Receiving confirmation from you that the 2 rooms booked had balconies when they didnt!
location frendly staff very helpfull.
toomany stairs!!! no toiletries left in room.
Room was nice, clean and fresh.
Bathroom didn't have a shower, there was no hair drier and the TV signal was very patchy.
The staff were great at coping and being amusing in dealing with guests. Damage to the roof during last winter's storms, required extensive repairs and meant that the Hotel has only recently been re-opened. The evening musical entertainment was average and mostly provided for the many coach holiday-makers.
Evening meals (cost £7.50) had to be ordered from a limited but adequate menu at Breakfast (cost £5.pp) were both extremely good value.
Reception and a pleasant stay
Timings of breakfast.
Lovely sea view.
Room had broken drawers. No shampoo just a small bar of soap no hair dryer.
Hotel more for elderly couples, which us reflected in the menu's available, no heating in operation in our room. Wi-Fi only works in part of the hotel, poor mobile phone reception. No car need to taxi or bus it.
A good job was done with what they had, a very old building. Staff were great.
