The friendliness and hospitality of the owners. The family accommodation we stayed in was beautifully decorated and furnished. The breakfast was lovely, especially the sausages and the provisions were more than expected. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location and we will stay here again in the not too distant future.

A high quality barn conversion on a quiet working farm - contemporary style but still a rustic feel. We had our own downstairs living/dining area with tv, fridge, tea, coffee, juice, fruit bowl, yoghurt etc. a hot breakfast was bought over to us from the farm house making it a very relaxed morning. Excellent value with a couple of very good pubs nearby for the evening.

Even if you are not needing to visit Somerset then you need to go just to stay at Shave Farm! A lovely warm welcome by Kate with tea and biscuits in the residents only lounge started a great 2 night stay. Fabulously big, bouncy bed and a wonderful cooked breakfast just added to the enjoyment... As did the pub recommendation for an evening meal. We will be back as there is so much to do in the area and would recommend anyone needing a bed for the night to visit Shave Farm..thanks guys!!

The rooms we had were nicely decorated with modern fittings and everything clean and tidy. Kate the hostess was friendly and welcoming and provided an excellent breakfast. We went to the "The George" (about a 10 - 15 minute walk) for our evening meal which was also good. We would return without hesitation.

We had a wonderful welcome by Kate on our arrrival with a pot of coffee and chocolate biscuits, which instantly relaxed us. Our room was spotless, modern and an absolute joy to sleep in. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, a choice of cereals or fresh melon and pineapple to start, fresh eggs from the farm, locally produced bacon and home made sausages.Toast, juice and coffee, heaven. Our hosts James and Kate are very friendly and gave us lots of good advice about the area and attractions. I wish we could have stayed longer, next time definitely.Thank you both for a relaxing stay. Catherine and Jeff

Shave Farm is a lovely quiet place to stay. The host Kate aliong with other staff were approachable and very friendly. I must say the Full Breakfast provided is the best and that comes not only from myself, but my sixteen year old son. Clean and fresh is an understatement.

It was a very comfortable place to stay. A real working dairy farm only about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the village where there is a nice pub that did good meals at reasonable prices. The room was a good size and quiet. There was a guest lounge. Breakfast was nice. Being a farm, there was no problem with parking. There was nothing I didn't like. It was all very good.
