beautiful hotel, very pleasant staff we left a mobile phone in our room and it was found and a phone call returned within 10mins now thats what i call service. The grouting on the bathroom tiles were a bit dirty but it was explained that they were upgraqding the decor. |

food was good,staff in restaurant were excellent,well designed hotel as no noise even though wedding going on in hotel and good large reception area showers were cold and the finish of the bathrooms let the room down. |

Wher can I begin, I booked a double room and got a twin disabled, when i complained I was met with distain from the receptionist. The room had not been serviced, rubbish in bins etc. Food was appauling but no one cared when you complained. There are a lot of contractors living in there and appear to get better service as they are in with the young staff. The pub attached to the hotel is full of drunken regulars who curse and swear loudly regardless of who is in and the bar staff are just as bad. The cooks spend more time in the bar than they do in the restaurant which accounts for the terrible food. |

Spacious modern hotel with very good facilities for the price. Comfortable bedrooms. Reasonable breakfast menu. Good location for eg New Lanark/Clyde Valley or a stopover on the way North into Scotland or South. Car essential. I had a conference lunch there and it was very good quality. |

It was very centrally locatedand allowed us to visit family in all parts of Glasgow plus visit Gllasgow and a variety of local attractions. In addition a function that we attended in the dining room was excellent. |

Staff seemed very uninterested, it costs nothing to talk to customers nicely rather than a can't be bother attitude. Reception and dining room were quite nice. Hotel is let down by rooms similar to a travelodge. I had to wait quite a while for service at the carvery even though a member of staff had seen me and the quality of veg was quit poor. Frustrating as a lot of the problems could be sorted out very easily and cheaply. Why can't the hotel management see this? |

the staff were very good and tried there best to serve every one on a very busy night when sat down for our dinner at 8-15pm it was 40 minuits before we recieved our first part of our meal and when we went up to the carvery just after 9pm they were closing it down but they opened it up again and the meal was good |

we were part of a large family party for Sunday lunch with young children. They were well entertained which meant that everyone stayed longer (and spent more at the bar) The breakfast was one of the poorest I have ever had, Everything was luke warm and sad looking. The hot water for the tea came from a flask which was tepid at the very least. An insult to the nice teas you had on offer. We have booked a family lunch in December, which will mean we will be staying again, hope it has improved |

The food was excellent and reception staff were very helpful.They did not seem to have our booking at first but did find us rooms. As there was a wedding on same day as our stay the piano in reception was playing constantly which was too loud and distracting.This was the only bad point I could mention regarding this hotel.The hotel did not have a booking for another couple in our party and at first suggested finding them an alternative hotel but as we were there to celebrate a 60th birthday wanted to stay all together as we had 6 double rooms booked. Eventually reception staff managed to locate a room for them as there was a cancellation at the last minute. |

We had booked a double room but when we got there they had given us a twin. John on reception quickly saw to this and gave us a suite as that was the only thing available. The bar prices were very reasonable as well for a hotel. |

Convenient for our purpose and amongst the best value of many we have stayed in The hotel had undergone recent extension and refurbishment but our room already needed repairs.Also some design features did not fit with the rest and some materials really cheap and nasty especially tables,doors etc in public rooms. |
