It is very convenient for Junction 8 of M74. Comfortable night. Good breakfast with good (efficient and unobtrusive) service. Reception staff very helpful. I have not ticked the boxes that do not apply. See below. There were no towels in ouir bathroom when we arrived but this was immediately rectified by the receptionist although there was still no bathmat. We found the shower impossible to turn off but reported it, went out, and it had been stopped by the time we came back. However the same thing happened the next morning so we reported it again. |

I thought that the food choices were very good and overall appearance of the reception and bar area was very nice. This is a very nice place to stay and service is friendly. The rooms do not do the hotel any justice as they looked very much much 1960 in term of appearance, and the furntice and television was about to fall to pieces. |

The hotel provided excellent value for money, the rooms were clean if a little dated in decor. The choice of breakfast was very good as well and I would definitley use it again for business. It is also well positioned near to m74 and Glasgow etc |

The friendliness & helpfulness of the staff. They all went out of their way to help me with whatever I asked of them..This hotel was great value for the price I paid. When I got there, they did not have my reservation which I had made several weeks beforehand! However, they upgraded me to a premier room so I had no complaints really. |

The bar and reception area is impressive and the staff helpful and attentive. The first room I was given only had a window into an untidy roof-space and had a broken telly. I was moved to the room next door which was better. The food was unimpressive, I had a salmon on a bed of pasta which was drowned in oil. |

Restaurant service at breakfast very poor. Food items were only available when the chef had the time to cook them. Breakfast was impossible to have on one plate due to having to wait for each item to be replaced seperately as it ran out. No tea pot as none left before 9am. We ate an evening meal in the restaurant, i would never recommend anyone to eat there. |

Hotel was quiet and public areas were clean and comfortable restaurant pleasant and reasonably priced. First room given was a smoking room, I requested none smoking. At checkout they tried to charge standard rate and not L.R booked rate. Rooms are in need of freshening up, also my room had unwashed cup, waste bin which had not been emptied and the floor needed hoovering. |

The room was excellent and after attending a Christmas Party night it was lovely not to have to drive home. Breakfast was leisurely next morning with a good choice. If there is a Friday Party Night ,could I suggest that Saturday breakfast time is similar to Sunday. |
