The hotel is well located, 5 minutes away from the Earl's court tube station and near the Cromwell Road, which goes all the way to Harrods, passing by the Natural History, V&A and Science museums. It seemed like a safe location, even at night. The hotel staff at night was very nice and helpful, but the daytime staff wasn't so friendly. Our first room wasn't very comfortable, but the second room pretty decent. Continental breakfast was very nice, including the usual toasts+jam+cereals, but also some fruit and pastry. The breakfast area is quite comfortable, and completely refurbished, as is the hotel itself. For a hotel of this type, the price was very good, so we totally recommend it. The hotel only has window blinds, not curtains, so the room doesn't get completely dark during the night. Also, there's a bit of traffic from Cromwell Road and the windows don't completely isolate their noise. This was more noticeable in our first room, which was closer to that street. The hotel staff during the day didn't seem very friendly, at least not as nice as the night staff. |

I liked the location, near to tube stations but what I didnt like was the unfriendly staff at breakfast and just generally..not very helpful at all! I have also in my live, never stayed at a hotel as noisy as this one has been on every occasion that I have now stayed there! I did not like the unfriendly staff, unhelpful staff and the hotel was generally just very very noisy...off street noisy and other inconsidered guests! |

It was very quiet inside despite being in a busy area, breakfast was reasonable. The lack of water pressure in the shower. Slightly inconvenient for tube, especially on a wet day/night. |

Good location, it was quiet and breakfast was OK. Clean. Rest of the hotel was OK so did I get the room for people who got booked cheap on the net? The room. It was cramped and the bathroom tiny. The room was only 18 inches wider then the beds were long (and they weren't that long - my feet stuck out of the end of the bed).No plug in minute hand basin, shower head did not fit. They had really squeezed a quart into a pint pot. |

Good value for money. Expectations were worse, I was suprised to see renovated bathroom with new modern equipment. There was no any hook or towel-horse in the bathroom, water-closet lid - the only one place where you could put it. |

I found the room clean and comfortable. I really liked the continental breakfast; croissants, pain au chocolat, pastries, fresh fruit, juices, tea, coffee, toast and a fresh rose on the tables.I noticed a variety of clients from a family with 3 children, a mother and adult daughter, two young far eastern girls, single men and businessmen. Can't think of anything. Businessmen may want internet access in their rooms. I don't know if it is avaliable - I did not want it. |

Ideal locations to the underground. Very small rooms and bathrooms. Beds were okay, but not comfortable. Staff is very friendly! Stayed there twice because of location and the room rate. |

Bugs on the bathroom floor, filthy window in the bedroom, no way to fully open the window and the elevator was way too small for two people and their luggage - we had to make it up to our floor in two trips. We had one suitcase and one computer bag each. |

The location was the only good thing about this hotel. The carpet was filthy, the bed sheets didnt look to clean either and there was no water pressure or hot water in the shower. I also got charged £5.00 for a missing plastic key card - the first time i have ever seen a charge levied for this. |

It's location is very good. Close to both Earl's Court Station & Gloucester Road. The price is affordable. The room was claustrophobic Have not seen such a tiny room in my whole lifetime experience with hotels. There was not enough space even at the bathroom. The window was unstable. Each room is just right next to the other, so there is much noise from the other rooms. Breakfast was plain and simple, no eggs or sausages which is strange for an english hotel. |

Our stay at Lexham Gardens was disappointing. We chose it primarily based on its location (which is good) and were pleased with the price too when we booked. However, on arrival the welcome was not warm, our rooms were basic to say the least, facilities were poor and the staff were not outright rude, but did not seem to care about our stay. There are also additional charges on arrival (for room keys etc.) which are not published on the websites. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. |
