The people who run this guest house are the nicest people ever! They made my stay so lovely and easy. Everything was perfect and the room was beautiful. I was cooked a beautiful breakfast the next day. I highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.

My room included everything I needed and nothing I didn'T. In other words, I was not paying money for extra things that I really don't care about. The breakfasts were wonderful, and Phillip was an excellent host. I would definitely recommend The Shelleven House to any traveler going to Bangor, N.I.

A friendly welcome from the owners, and a superb breakfast. A beautifully quiet location. A 5% credit card charge was a bit steep - use a debit card if possible.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Weston, proprietors were gracious and helpful as well as welcoming. The Guest House is a very easy walk to the Marina, shopping and dining - all of which were very good experiences both in pleasure and value. I found their kindness also quite welcoming and often missed in the modern world of business and commerce. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend anyone to book with them.

The guest house listened to my request of decaf coffee in the room and provided me with a new jar! The fan in the bathroom rattled in the wind throughout the night and kept me awake for most of the time.

In a quiet location but within easy walking distance of Bangor town centre. Helpful & friendly hosts and staff. Our twin room was basic but comfortable. The whole guesthouse was spotlessly clean. Their was a good choice for breakfast and it was delicious and well presented. Its a short walk to the train station if you'd like to go further afield. Not really suitable for party people or night owls.

Private parking and clean house Heating was not turned on in house and bedroom room was cold and the bedroom was on the ground floor, it felt like it was a kitchen turned into a bedroom, During the night we could hear lots of movement on the floor above very thin ceiling and it was difficult to sleep, one night was enough

The breakfast was very, very good and really made the place value for money, while there's a price difference between here and say a premier inn, the premier inn breakfasts are crap and add a good £8 to the price. They turn their wifi off at night
