Owners are very friendly, highly disciplined and clean family-run hotel with a home-away-home experience. Room service and breakfast are excellent. Well connected to the Heathrow airport by Hotel Hoppa buses H1/H8 (Comfort hotel stop and few yards walk) or 24 hour bus service 140 (Croyde avenue stop and 1/4 mile walk). Free parking, 24 hours hot water, shower, TV, Internet, generous tea/coffee, fresh linens, safe and calm environment to relax and peaceful sleep. Value for money in Heathrow / Hayes region!!

The staff were very friendly and ready to help[, advising us about transport connections, calling a taxi for us and letting us leave bags. The room was spacious and pleasant with good amenities. Everything was geared to flexibility and minimum fuss. We appreciated the free wifi. Its good for anyone needing simple, comfortable accommodation near London and the airport. It was good value for the price.

Conveniently situated on the Hoppa bus route near Heathrow. Reasonably quiet location and very peaceful in room. Key to come in and out. Pleasant person on reception. Good value for money. Main set back was there was no food available in the evening, possibly because it was a bank holiday and the walk to town was at least 20 mins away. Town full of groups of youth and a bit daunting for solo, elderly woman traveller in the evening. Also, as I had to get to the airport before breakfast (which was included in the price) I asked if I could have a breakfast box in my room, but this could not be arranged.

Closeness to the airport and price that was within my limited budget. If traveling by train then I suggest getting a taxi to the Lodge unless you have little luggage and plenty of energy. Supposed to be a 15 min walk from station but was longer for me as I was lugging a very heavy bag and already tired from train changes to get to Hayes and Harlington. Was very satisfied with the accommodation and person who saw to my needs. Thanks...

Pat & Brian the management are brilliant, they made us feel at home. Love the friendliness of the hotel the bar area is nice. They both made us feel very welcome, and would definitely go back! We both had a great nights sleep, comfy beds :-)

Stayed at this guesthouse with my mother because it is close to the airport. For 40 pounds this was a wonderful place to stay. Room was clean, beds comfy (my mom had a bed that was a little creaky), free parking, easy to take the shuttle to Heathrow airport from down the road at the Comfort Inn for 4.50 pounds. Also, driving to the airport was maybe 10 minutes at the most (for terminal 4) The staff were very nice and the small breakfast was decent. We payed a little extra to have eggs and bacon. Also, it was quite at night. No problems, I will stay here again if I need to fly out early! If you are trying to go into London just be advised it is a 45 minute train ride to the center from the Heathrow airprort or you can get to the next station at Hanslow west.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with free Wi-Fi. The staff were very helpfull and friendly. Proximity to Heathrow airport (while not on the flight path) is a plus. It cost me GBP16 and 15 minutes to get to the airport. Hayes city centre was just a 10 minute bus ride away and took care of my limited shopping needs. Breakfast was good except for the absence of sweeteners (or honey) to cater for the needs of people like me who do not take sugar.

We liked the location and the lodge itself was very clean and the staff very welcoming. Close to Heathrow and a stones throw from Underground and other transport services. The room was compact but very comfortable and the price we paid for our stay was a bargain. We would recommend the Shepiston Lodge to all our family and friends without hesitation.
