The courtesy, efficiency and friendliness of all of the Hotel staff. Very comfortable room. Value for money. Superb breakfast. Great for public transport. The attitude of the person behind the counter at the Hotel shop opposite the lifts. Very unfriendly, almost to the point of being offensive.

Very average older hotel. Clean room. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever come across in 20 yrs of World travel. Totally uninterested staff, no-one ever said good morning/evening in the 3 days we stayed

Convenient to Heathrow This is a poor example of Sheraton group hotels..needs refurbishment everywhere, and food standard is also poor. Normal price of room GBP 249.00 is ridiculous and thank goodness for the internet price..3 people who will not stay again until they bring this hotel to standard...

The concierge were lovely. It was terrible, front staff had no personality, we went to put food in fridge and there was no mini bar so we had to change room and had to wait around with grisly baby that needed food while they stuffed around. They didn't have a bed organised as requested for child, had to wait for that. Got shifted to new room where mini bar had half eaten food and had white fungus mould over all the bottom surfaces in fridge, mould was on shower walls. When complained, duty manager apologies and says they will send up a bottle of wine straight away that after 1 hour still hadn’t received . When finally did at 9.15 just wanted to sleep as had early flight and didn't even drink it. Disgusting and appalled and would never stay at a Sheraton Hotel again. How they can have this in their chain with their name on it.... Do not know. Shame on you Sheraton!!!

I did not like a Russian demanding my passport or driving licence when I tried to check in and was told I would be refused in future if I did not have these documents. We do not require ID in the UK .We do not live in a police state. The rooms had been booked and confirmed by e-mail this extra demand for documents is a disgrace. The Buffet restaurant was totally unimaginative the cuisine exceedingly poor and the staff did not appear to care what happened one way or the other. For all of this we were paying a high price.not even a free bottle of water in the room.the rooms were barely clean. we were charged £12.50 to leave our car which should have been free but is obviously seen as another money spinner. Last year I spent 155 nights in hotels but Sheraton never again.

Good staff, food and value for money Very dated. Zero ambience in restaurant, bar and other public areas. Bit tatty around the edges; re-furb long overdue. Not up to the usual Sheraton standard. Waited too long to check-out; more staff needed on front desk at peak times.

Location of the hotel is good, very near to lhr terminals Generally spoken the hotel needs a major overhaul, it looks tired, old and completely worn out. Dirty carpets, old fashioned decor, peeling wall paper in the rooms. The general impression of my room was that I felt it was not really clean, dusty and a bit dirty. The service was friendly but too many things went wrong during my first day; empty drinks from the minibar were left at the desk after housekeeping cleaned the room, the key did not work anymore after one day, although I asked the reception not to forget my wake up call, I never received the wake up the next morning, there was a false fire alarm and the whole hotel was evacuated the next morning, no explanation or apology followed etc etc

It is quite far from the airport and was not easy to get to the shuttle due to long queue with many bags. Long queue also at reception. Rooms good but rather old. We were not satisfied.

Unbeleivably slow check-in. People kept waiting while the standard speech was given to each. I was 10 mins at check-in with only 3 people in line ahead of me. Room was of poor quality with water stained ceiling etc. They have a "Preferred Guest" option. I think the term is offensive to non preferred guests.

I think you need to review the 2nd question, none of the the options is appropriate. I would descibe the hotel as a tired & ageing 5 star. Being booked into a room that hadnt been cleaned ! new room was fine, but corridors are badly in need of refurbishment, very badly knocked about, paint off, wallpaper damaged, doors & doorframes badly damaged.

I liked how near it was to Heathrow which is why I chose the hotel. The cleanliness of the room, quiet I could not hear the airport taking off. The only thing that comes to mind is that the reception staff never bothered to mention anything about where to eat all they did was check me in. They could have advertised the hotel services more by informing me of what their restaurant had to offer. I ended up going over the road to McDonalds for something to eat.

Proximity to Heathrow airport combined with a certain standard/level of accommodation being Sheriton. After spending 6 weeks travelling around europe including sometimes staying in 2 star accommodation this was the first place there was no free wi fi in room...and this is Sheriton???? Even Mc Donalds or Starbucks provide free wi fi!

You would think that the Sheraton would be a good hotel belong to a chain like the Sheraton. The price offered was good so I decided to go for it. Normally I woudl stay in less well know hotels but which offer similar prices. What I didn't realise is that the hotel is undergoing renovation. It is a mess. The bits not being renovated are tired and run down the restaurant is awful as are the public areas. Perhaps when it is finished it will be ok but there are much nicer hotels in the area for no more money. I willl go back to using these!

There was nothing that I really loved about the Sheraton to tell the truth. It was the first hotel that came up and suited my needs which were cheap room to recover from a long haul flight with a young child. The overall decor was not quite what I had expected from the Sheraton, also there was the smell of cigarette smoke coming through the air conditioning, also the air conditioning never seemed to be able to have its temperature lowered even though the device on the wall indicated that the air flow had been made cool!! Not nice

The hotel was being extensively renovated. I look forward to seeing it when completed. The renovation meant access via rear - which was limited. Rooms old and worn. The plumbing in the toilet was defective - the cut off water valve constantly failed. Limited local TV - most was foreign stations. The sign indicating the mini bar was electronic was too small. I removed items to put my own food in fridge and received a 130 pound bill during the night. Had to reverse it next day.

Clean adn good service. Front desk incredibly helpful when my husband was trying to send an e document to Canada. The food was very pricey with not many options if you didn't want a full course meal. I would appreciate other options.
