food was ok and the staff were helpful enough handy for glasgow airport i had a room above function room and it was noisy would have prefered to have been located further away from all the action if you had an early rise |

Everything starting from the grounds it was set in to the friendlyness of the staff and most especially the room we had We stayed on what were so far the hottest days of the year meaning that even at night the room with all of the windows open was too hot.Maybe they need to look at air conditioning. |

Our stay was great, the room was amazing and the staff were very attentive. We got a free upgrade to an amazing suite just by asking. The location is good, minutes from the centre of town from the nearby rail station. |

The hotel room is very spacious, flat screen TV, nice bathroom. The bar and library are excellent for having a drink or coffee, nice views. Shower handle too sensitive, you can either freeze or boil by moving it 1 cm either side. Window and door where humid so they were difficult to close. |

I stayed here regularly a few years ago and always liked it. It has been sympathetically refurbished since then. The rooms are lovely and the staff are as friendly and helpful as they were before. Breakfast was excellent. I would use this hotel again I had my elderly mother with me and no lift meant the stairs were a challenge however the new garden rooms should take care of this when they are completed. The staff were very attentive to my mother ensuring that access to the car park was the shortest route. |

Loved the whole ambience of the hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location was great, just a short train journey into Glasgow, and 45 minute journey to Edinburgh. Note, trains do not run on Sundays from local station. Would not hesitate to come back to Sherbrooke Castle and have already recommended it to friends. |

the hotel room was large and the bed even larger everything was spotless, the breakfast in the morning was excellent with a large variety of food, and a lovely coal fire in the restaurant. The staff were very helpfull and friendly we found the price of the drink in the bar to be quite expensive, and the main meal at night in the restaurant although it was excellant there was'nt much off it with only one small desert spoon of potatoes under the small steak. |
