We loved our room and the view.The restaurant was comfortable and food very good.The staff was very helpful. The place is old and could use some redecorating.

It was a lovely hotel and the food was nice too. Most of the staff were pleasant and it is in a nice location. I felt it was a bit run down in areas. There were patches of plaster missing int he room where we attended a Wedding. Our bedroom was ok but I wouldn't have paid full price which was £165 & if I had paid that I would have been asking for my money back. Definitely not up to the standard I was expecting :-(

All the staff were very curteous, efficient and friendly. The service from staf was excellent. The choice of food was good and the quality of the food was excellant Pillows on the bed were not great, one was not enough and two was too many

Excellent value; very comfortable; excellent large room; helpful friendly staff; close to public transport; only 5 minutes (by train) from City Centre in quiet suburban location. Can't think of anything!

We really liked the location of Sherbrooke castle,it is such a lovely building in a quiet residential area,with free parking. The staff were very helpfull and friendly.The breakfast was very good too. The only one thing that I would say,was on the booking form I told them about my dairy allergy,but they did not have non dairy spread for my toast at breakfast. Soya yoghurt and soya milk could so easily be provided.

how near it was to shops i know it is a castle but i think that the furniture in room one was a little bit tried i kept sliding of the couch as the is losing the the stuffing in the pads. Having said that the bed was so comfortable and the bath room was great, would be better with a large mirror in the bathroom as the room is to dull for ladies to apply make up

A double room had mistakenly been allocated to our children instead of a twin room but the hotel staff quickly prepared a twin room for them to occupy instead. Our double room was lovely - very spacious and furnished with antiques. We had a delicious meal in the dining room. The sofas in the bar area are not very comfortable and could do with being replaced.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking on-site. Good selection on the menu for breakfast and evening meals and reasonably priced. The shower in the room started off with reasonable power but faded away in use.

The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The room was fantastic - one of the nicest I have stayed in. 4 poster bed and free standing bath. The location was great too - lovely houses nearby, and a large park 5 minutes away, allowing you to walk off that breakfast!

Very comfortable room ( room 21 was ideal for my wife who was unable to walk far) and with a disabled parking place adjacent it was ideal . All of the staff were most helpful and considerate . The room was not ready when we arrived at 4pm (I believe the hotel had been busy the evening before). However the room was made ready before we attended the wedding meal at 4-30pm
