E' incantevole, sembra davvero un castello medievale, anche se e' di fine '800.camera confortevolissima e staff gentilissimo . abbiamo sempre cenato in albergo perche' si mangia bene e si spende il giusto (25/30 € a persona). Il prezzo e' un po' elevato, ma sono soldi spesi bene . |

ottima zona residenziale, castello ottocentesco kitsch, ma attraente, camera grandissima, nuova e pulita. personale gentilissimo, ottimo breakfast e cena. parcheggio interno. spesa contenuta riservando in anticipo. |

The first receptionist I met was terrific; she gave me maps, advice, called a taxi, asked me what I needed, was I comfortable, etc... 1) During the breakfast service the staff was doing heavy cleaning with odorous cleaning fluids - this caused me to lose my appetite and I had to forego breakfasts for the rest of my stay. 2) The "continental" breakfast said it included meats and cheeses but it did not. 3) I came in late one night and asked if any food was available; the receptionist said I could get a sandwich and a drink. It turns out he had to go and make the sandwich! He put one slice of ham on a couple of pieces of bread with some tomato slices and I was charged 7.50 GBP! Outrageous! |

The staff were very friendly and efficient. It was close to Glasgow but you felt you were away from it all as well. They were considerate when allocating us a room because they put us in a seperate quiet area because there was a wedding on.The breakfast was lovely! I was initially a bit disappointed not to get a room in the hotel itself but it was a lovely room all the same and considerate of them to give us a bit of peace from the weddings. I also had hoped for the free-standing bath which kept being shown alongside the room but I understand all room don't have this. Would be nice to know if the room did or didn't have a bath before arrival. |

Since our last stay about a year ago the hotel has added extra rooms. These are very comfortable, spacious, well furnished with modern decor.The breakfast is very good.Would use again. |

Everything starting from the grounds it was set in to the friendlyness of the staff and most especially the room we had We stayed on what were so far the hottest days of the year meaning that even at night the room with all of the windows open was too hot.Maybe they need to look at air conditioning. |
