Location Room Staff
I could not use the room fridge as it was a remove and pay minibar I would have liked to be able to put a bottle of wine in it
Location is perfect, staff are very helpful.
Old furniture and facilities
Glass door of the bathroom, I prefer more privacy
great location in downtown, very close to shopping street and parks
facility is a bit old
The noise was unbearable...a constant drone made the bedroom feel like we were sleeping in a boiler room
Noise due to lack of carpeting in 3rd and 4th floor rooms. I moved from a nice room on the 2nd floor because of noise from above. The new room was too noisy due to lack of carpeting in the rooms beside me. Impractical room lay-out -- everything geared to a guest who is 6 ft. or taller.
Location and the service
Rooms looked a bit tatty and could do with an update
Location, good standards, small rooms but typical in this part of london, well done
Wifi in room was poor
A lot of noise in the morning
Location was excellent Breakfast was excellent
How expensive the room rate was.
Staff was very friendly. Accommodations were great.
Only problem was they pre-authorized $2000 for the room. Seemed excessive to me and the explanation for it made no sense. Air conditioning made noise.
Friendliness. Presentation of staff and food excellent. Able to relax as no pressure to vacate room mornings. Concierge very helpful.
Cooked food pre-cooked meant it was cold and bacon rubbery. Staff kept taking crockery away before we had both finished eating. Evening menu resembled bar menu bit lacking in variety.
Staff were friendly Ideal central location
The bathroom was very tired. There were rusty areas, and dampness under some of the paintwork. The shower attachment was hanging off the wall and there was mould growing in the cubicle. Not what I'd expect from a Park Plaza, having stayed at the fabulous Park Plaza at County Hall just a couple of weeks ago.
Right in the guts of London an only a 2min walk to Tube station. Close to restaurants. Very clean and great if you want to relax out of the hustle and bustle that is London.
Had parking and airport shuttle listed on booking website........there wasn't either! (proved to be very costly)
Location Check in Facilities Breakfast
Could be cleaner Road works outside
Good location, first rate staff regardless of whether they were room cleaners, bar staff, restaurant staff, or on the reception desk. Excellent attentive service right across the board. This is a very friendly and relaxing hotel.
Accepting that it's not a five star hotel the rooms are nonetheless dark and very dated ie dark wooden furniture with dated decor, interiors and furnishings. We tend to ignore this as the hotel overall is excellent but it really needs a 'refresh'.
LOCATION close to tube, rail, tons of places to eat, walking distance to shopping on Oxford St. Room was large (free upgrade), nice grill, workout room with steam and sauna (free), grocery store right next door. cold A/C. Absolutely no complaints. Will stay there again
hallway carpet little threadbare, other than that - absolutely no complaints. Will stay there again
Staff were great. Beds were good. Location is great.
The shower had no temperature setting and the bathroom door is made of glass so when room service walk in they can see you showering/sat on the toilet. The tv functionality along with choice of movies was appalling.
Room was too hot
the layout of the room was bizarre. The bed was at the far end of a narrow room under the window. The TV was placed half way down, facing across the width of the room (i.e. the only way to watch TV was to stand in the middle of the room). There was a sliding glass door to the bathroom, which took the mystery away as to whether your partner was standing or sitting when they went to the loo. Weird.
The room we had been given felt like a closet, and had the odor of an elderly lady. The bathroom door didn't close all the way and was a sliding glass door. If you're poop shy, stay away. If not, you can hear everything when someone is using the bathroom. The TV service in the room was horrible as well. I would not stay here again.
The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, the gym was ideal for what I needed and the food was lovely.
The convenience of being able to walk to all the places I needed to get to during my brief stay in London. A very comfortable and quiet hotel which suited my needs. Pleasant staff, a good breakfast, private and not intrusive so overall a lovely short break, thank you.
