Friendly welcome, lovely room and bathroom all clean and well appointed.Within easy walking distance of shops, theatre etc. Parking on street but wasn't busy at any time while we were there, parking disc freely available from hotel. Good breakfast, hosts only too happy to help with questions. All in all a great place to stay for either a week-end break or a business trip to Harrogate.

It is very well run. Very friendly people who run it. Room was comfy and clean ,breakfast was excellent. . The only complaint is about the cost. If we had booked direct it would only have cost £195 for 3 nights. But because we booked through the web it cost an extra £30. also my husband took ill and we had to come home early, so we ended up paying £225 for 2 nights . not very cost effective.

As we arrived in Harrogate long before the check in time, we went to leave are bags in only to be asked if we would like into our rooms early which was Great. Sue was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. She let us use her personal laptop to book in bags with our flight operator. She also let us leave our bags until we where due to leave for the airport. Breakfast was excellent and rooms where great. Would highly recommend this B&B!!

Really friendly owner and room was very comfortable, clean and modern with extra touches such as shower gel/soap/biscuitsetc. Breakfast was great with a fab choice. B&b was very central - just a few minutes walking distance to all shops/ameneties. We have stayed in a few different B&B's in other parts of the country over the last few months and this is the only one I would rebook. Definetely recommended!

Very comfortable small hotel and immaculately clean. We'd been to a funeral and Sue was very warm and welcoming after what had been a difficult day. High standard of decor too and I loved the white chandelier in our bedroom, unexpectedly luxurious for a small hotel. Would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to family and friends.

Lovely welcome from owners who were very attentive and caring. Room was spotless and very comfy bed! It was a bit too well heated for me, but soon sorted that by turning down the radiator and opening the window. Excellent value for money, would definitely recommend and stay there again. Ideal location for Conference Centre as only 3 mins walk, yet in a quiet street. Great choice on Breakfast Menu - just wish I was a breakfast person!

Wonderful friendly atmosphere with spotlessly clean facilities. Just a five minute easy walk into the town centre but quiet at night so the location was very restful. We would definitely book again.

The Sherwood is without doubt one of the nicest bed and breakfasts I have ever stayed in. The welcome is very warm and friendly, the rooms are immaculately clean and the decor is very homely. The breakfast choice is extensive with large portions and the service is very quick. The prices per room are very affordable compared to other B&Bs who do not come close to offering such an all round enjoyable stay. I will definately always stay at the Sherwood when I am on business in Harrogate.

“There was a very warm welcome in this well kept and very up to date b&B. Our room (4) was at the back of the house and was lovely and quiet. The bed linen was of a good quality and with free shower gel and soap, the en-suite was also well equipt. Breakfast was very pleasant with fresh fruit salad, yogurts, choice of fresh juice as well as a full tasty breakfast. I would have no hesitation in staying here again. ” Linda, Glasgow |
