Shibden Mill Inn  

The location was beautiful, the staff were so friendly, the rooms were well presented and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

The shower in our room had very poor water pressure so I felt dissatisfied with the bathroom facilities, however I did appreciate the toiletries available to guests.

The whole experience was excellent, the food was great and the staff very friendly. We loved the hotel, the decor was lovely.

The food was out of this world!

The room was a bit small - the bed took up most of it. We had actually wanted a superior room but this wasn't available.

Everything! Totally exceeded expectation to the point that we booked a 3rd night as we didnt want to leave. My husband and I had an fantastic time. Amazing hotel - the website does not do it justice. My husband particularly loved the fantastic breakfasts!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The attention to detail which is so often mssing in hotels. A couple of very little things but which demonstrate this: nice radio in room, the cupboard full of DVD's to borrow which you can help yourself to, "proper" coffee in your room.

The bathrooms had the normal toiletries but also toothbrush and toothpaste. The food for the evening meal was presented visually very well and the flavours were excellent. The breakfast presentation table was excellent with all the preserves etc

Everything was perfect, from the staff help to the food and atmosphere. The bedroom was small but lovely.

A truely fabulous venue. The staff are very efficient, fiendly and helpful. Delightful accommodation. Very comfortable. The chef is wonderful and was very flexible with the provision of gluten-free dishes. Nearly became trapped there due to heavy snow. That would have been a delight!!!

The room was lovely could not fault it. Very comfortable, very homely and clean, everything you needed. You could even ring for fresh milk which was great.

The way we were treated regarding a meal. We were told no tables in the bar for bar food, only table was in the restaurant so we asked if we could have bar food in the restaurant and were told yes. When we went in the restaurant we were told no we couldn't have bar food ! We opted for a christmas lunch menu (weren't given the christmas dinner menu), although the food was obviously well thought out, the portions were small and my husband even after 3 courses was still hungry. The breakfast however was lovely.
