Very good location, staff very helpful, old property, lots of character very good restaurant for evening meals and breakfast. Bit of a problem with car parking especially at peak times. Property in need of some tlc, and dare I say, woman's touch as the premises appear to be run by a group of young guys only.

The Inn is just above the beach at Tresaith and all 4 guest rooms overlook it. It is a delightful sandy beach with the chance to see dolphins if you are lucky. The service and food is excellent and we would recommend it to anyone. The rooms are noy what you would call luxurious but are very comfortable and there is everything one would need.

Location is wonderful as is the view from the room. Very relaxing place to stay for a short break. Staff very helpful and polite. Room was lovely and warm but a bit on the small side (room 4) but room 3 where our friends stayed much better. Is in need of a refurb outside of the building in particular in need of painting.

Location, sea views, food fine. Manager very personable and looked after us well. Needs a refurb especially outside. A lick of paint to the fences and tables would improve the look tremendously. No hair dryer in room. Third choice of cask beer would be good.

Just been taken over and attentive staff are still getting to grips with things. Our room was clean with a lovely view over the sandy beach, which is easy to get onto and there is a waterfall. This place could have it all and I wish Adam and the staff all the best in their endeavours. Long wait for meal which was not that great, but again this was addressed the next morning and the breakfast was fine. Bathroom could do with an overhall.

Just sold house in Aberporth and needed to stay in the area for 2 nights.Know the hotel very well.Staff extremely helpful, food excellent, room tastefully decorated, wonderful views and all in all a good experience. If I were to nit pick the fan in the toilet was like a motor boat, the door handle needs adjusting( can't open it quietly) and for me personally the pillows were too soft .

Location - overlooking small bay. Very friendly staff. Great to have a special deal of two nights for the price of one. Very relaxed and not formal. Room was not as warm as it could be due to a window that wouldn't close properly.

Location , stunning views of the sea, beach and coastal path , cosy beautiful room with small balcony to stand and stare and take in the sea air - fabulous ! Food choice , presentation and taste splendid and breakfast excellent all with lovely service by Carl and his staff. We have visited The Ship on several occassions for coffe and a lite bite and the occassional meal throughout the caravan season and have returned for an overnight stay to celebrate our Wedding Anniversay - highly recomended ! Nothing negative to say

The good points of the ship inn are that its clean, good food and the rooms are comfortable with amazing views. The ship Inn has a good manager but he needs more back up from his staff, The weekend we were there they were doing a funraiser for cancer, but the only problem was that on the morning they were more interested getting organised for the day rather than the paying guests. The rooms are ok but need abit of diy and they have been painted but it doesnt look very professional.

We were very late checking in as we had a long journey to get there arriving at 11pm. We had trouble finding the ship inn as it was very dark we had no sat nav & it is fairly remote. We called the hotel for directions & they directed us right to the front door, when we walked in we were welcomed with a pint of cider waiting on the bar. We were shown to our room which was very warm comfortable & spacious. The view from our room when we woke was amazing all rooms have a view of the bay out to sea which is truly beautiful & unspoilt. Breakfast was delicious with tea served in a china teapot not one of those horrid stainless steel things There was no pressure to check out on time & we found the staff incredibly friendly & helpful. On the whole one of the best stays I have had & we will definitely be going back next summer for a longer stay this time

Carl and all of his Staff were welcoming and efficient, super and varied food freshly prepared to a very high standard, with good Brains ales and a selection of wines. The room was fresh and comfortable with a view that few would ever match.. Dolphins at play in view without binoculars !! The locals in the bar were very knowledgable and willing to chat about anything in English or Welsh, especially the local wildlife (Dewi P ) Sat outside in the covered area with drinks my wife and a book was my idea of a terrific break.. Thank you all. I cannot wait to return. p.s. how did I forget to mention 100 yds to the sandy beach !

The location of The Ship Inn is unbeatable, enhanced further by the 'heated' terrace. This meant that it is possible to eat/drink outside until relatively late in the evening in September. The bedrooms have an equally wonderful location, all with seaview. Food was excellent and not expensive. Service speedy. Double room rate for single person. The rooms are directly above the bar and, as such, the noise from it could be heard loudly in the bedroom. Equally in the morning the preparations for breakfast/the day ahead could be heard clearly.

We liked everything, however the room had the most inspiring view of Tresaith Bay and the food in the restaurant was superb. The shower was less than a trickle ! And the tv did not work !
