Hey, this hotel is a real gem. The staff are very helpful, meals are brilliant and the buffet breakfast is very good, particuarly if you get down to the dining room at 7.00am. I have read comments on the hotel and cannot understand what people are not happy with. In fact I liked it so much I booked an additional night for the folowing week. When a hotel is this good you have got to praise it as there are so many poor overpriced hotels in the greater London area. So don't take my word for it, try it and stay there:-)

A very reasonably priced hotel, with practical, tidy, comfortable rooms, and with a terrific, welcoming and helpful staff. Provides a wonderful breakfast, sets you up for the day! Good choice of evening meals too. Plenty of car parking spaces and very convenient for Shepperton Studios. I was booked for 2 nights but changed that to 4. not possible to fault

We were checking out at 6 am yesterday, tried to pay at the checkou at about 9 pm the night before, the guy on duty was not authorized to take a payment so we had to leave early the next morning and nobody wasthere to give us our check. They have or credit card number so they can charge us. They also did not give us our wake up call at 6am and fortunately we woke up, also no help with cases - it was convenient for us because my daughter works nearby but if not forthat I would not have stayed there more than a day. The fire doors make so much noise that they wake you up all thru the night so all in all noI would not rebook there, sorry.

The staff were friendly and the decor was fairly modern. The room was very small. We were only there for 1 night and are not big people but it was difficult to get round the room as the bed took up most of the space. It had the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel with an odd door arrangement that was difficult to operate. We stayed on a Saturday night and there was a party in the hotel so it was hard to get to sleep until it finished. It would have been courteous of the hotel to advise us about the fact there was a party that night.

All a-ok, except that original room was far too hot and radiator could not been turned down (staff member did try). Moved to different room. Tick. No telephone in original room (stolen?). In second room, some joker had set the (radio) alarm to go off in the wee small hours!! Very funny!?! Perhaps ask cleaning staff to check/cancel?? Room immaculately clean. Staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast good. Nearby parking. Well done Harrisons! Staff were very friendly and helpful The hotel creaks. We stayed on the first floor and could hear when anyone was walking along the corridor (the radiator rattled and the floorboards creaked). Our bed was also "noisy". I didnt really get a good nights sleep here as I kept getting woken up - either by moving around the bed or from the hallway.

The staff were very nice and helpful, the room was clean and good standard. There was only 5 spaces in the car park. It said we would have freeview and that consisted of 5 channels.

The rooms, the friendly staff, the area, the food, the price, the pigeons :-) almost everything. Just the very very loud music coming from the function rooms right underneath our room but they were christmas parties so it was not so bad.

The staff were very friendly indeed. The lady on reception was very personable and answered any queries my partner and I had. She was also very funny! The price. For the location this hotel was very expensive. The room was nice an large but this was not a hotel it was a bar and bistro with some room added on. If I had planned it properly, I should have booked Brooklands and the event I was going to that evening was at Mercedes Benz World.

I liked the way it has been decorated. The receptionist was most helpful and welcoming which made a good impression. Breakfast and evening meal were both excellent. The bedroom and bathroom were nicely decorated and comfortable. I did not think that some of the waiters and waitresses were dressed appropriately to reflect the standard that the hotel is striving to achieve. They did not look smart.
