Bed, Having a smoking option Friendly staff Quietness
Good location easy access, staff helpful and good. Room comfortable, Good value for the money
Very tatty and expensive for what it offered
staff were very friendly and helpfull
towels were not very soft to use
Polite and cheerful staff.
Distance from Silverstone. Staff accommodating
Not a 3 star hotel
Strange place with a poor reputation given to me by the locals. Good setting for a 1950`s crime movie. Not a UK member of staff in sight
Cold breakfast Very basic Far too Expensive for the poor standard
nearness to Silverstone ,Milton Keynes and Buckingham
Tatty decor in bathrooms and cleaniness could have been better.Location's neighbours looked like a junk yard.
Nice bar Friendly staff Comfy bed
No evening resturant
The receptionist and a colleague offered a change of room (which I accepted) and a good tv, they supplied the hairdryer, the bath plug and a fan immediately. Replacement crockery was also given straightaway. Well done!
No hairdryer, poor tv reception, no plug in bath and no air conditioning during extremely hot weather. I had to ask for a dirty mug to be replaced. In the short term, this hotel should be overseen by a professional. I am not sure what training or experience the eastern European staff had received.
Staff were friendly.
The outdoor sitting area was disgusting, unclean and very poor seating. Bedding cleanish, towel not very clean and toilet had a crack in it. We paid £70 for the night and would have had to pay extra for breakfast. Inside the hotel looked very run down. (Needs some TLC)
The helpful, friendly staff who were determined to ensure my stay was comfortable. Outlook over the countryside from my rear room. Clean, though rather worn, room. Reasonable price considering the distance from central Milton Keynes.
Distance from central Milton Keynes. There was no other accommodation for the night I had booked. The distance shown from central Milton Keynes was misleading. I paid for a continental breakfast which is my usual choice in a hotel. There was a poor selection of fruit, no savoury spreads for toast, no croissants, cold meats or cheeses which is what I expected. I would not have had time to have a full English breakfast.
Convenient location and perfectly fine for an overnight stay
TV functioning was poor.
The staff were friendly.
No orange squash for my daughter too drink at night.Room card didnt work so had too go back down to reception for key.
-The beds were comfortable
-Overpriced - the price did not match the quality. Could have stayed at the travelodge or premier inn for less money with clean rooms
Stains on carpet Blood stain on bed cover Milk out of date Could make more of an effort with cleaning room !!!!
Clean room - Very Tidy - Bed was nice - Tea and coffee in room which we didn't expect from first impressions
General decor was very shabby. Exterior very shabby on arrival first impression was it was a very seedy hotel. For the price it was very poor. I have stayed in much nicer places for a lot less money. This was advertised as 6 miles from Silverston, well unless it was as the Crow flies or by helicopter this was misleading.
Location was good, only 20 minutes to Silverstone circuit and not far from Milton Keynes central station
Basic room. Small bathroom which was very dated. Shower curtain was disgusting. Price for the room was £107 (normally £75) because it was Silverstone Week end. I wouldn't be happy with paying the £75 !
Filthy bathroom with dirty sealant some of which was missing. Black mould on tiles and around bath. Bath heavily stained with brown, leaking tap. Towels white/grey of extreme poos quality. Showed to staff member who agreed it was unacceptable and that she wouldn't like to stay in such conditions. I couldn't shows all weekend. And, staff took the balance for payment out of my account without asking and before checkout, tantamount to theft ! I was appalled. Insulting to guests on all counts.
We were attending the F1 weekend at Silverstone and this was a late booking. The hotel was convenient and there was ample free parking.
The hotel requires refurbishment and everything is rather "tired". The room rate was inflated above the norm but I guess this was due to the F1 event.
It's cheap. A decent cooked breakfast.
It's one level below a Travelodge, but it's cheap.
Value for money. Friendly staff
No restaurant, even though it says there is in the book.
Staff were friendly.
Cobwebs in room, stains on the bathroom ceiling, bathroom fan didn't work. Cook had no idea how to make porridge - I was given a bowl of hot milk with some lumps of instant oats in it!
