Location, right across the road from the beach. Sea View room is best if you enjoy listening to the sea.
No option for continental breakfast at a reduced rate.
very close to everything in Eastbourne. Breakfast was good. Breakfast staff helpful and curteous.
Lack of parking, especially having to unload a car with very young children on double yellow lines and no help offered to do so. If you were a single parent/on own with kids this would be impossible.
shower was very good and staff are very friendly
our room was by the noisy pub with live music up to 1pm
Close to pier and town ideal
Parking finding a spot along the front
good price, clean, nice room
Position cleanliness polite staff comfy bed plenty of space spare pillows plenty of tea n coffee in room we had 2 rooms breakfast good choices one night stay overall not too bad
Very noisey at night doors banging other guests very selfishly nosisey unfortunately hotel cannot be held responsible for noisey guests I recommend ear plugs better up keep on bathroom tiles
Sea view , location near the town Ideal for public transport near the bus stops.
The room was not cleaned , we had to ask for it to be done .It was done so it was ok . We asked for a meal but chef was off sick..
the room was spacious and well equipped. gorgeous sea views and view onto the eastbourne pier. very polite and friendly staff.
the shower is very small and the shower curtain sticks to your body. breakfast buffet was good but a bit greasy.
Room was comfortable, staff were helpful, parking is (relatively) easy, overall a great deal for the price range!
Walls a little thin but not too much disturbance at all. Otherwise no problems at all.
Location Staff very helpful Good breakfast
Booked double bed, but only twin were available when checking in Room smelt of smoke - advised must have been previous occupants Gutters at rear of property not discharging into drain and window had to be kept shut
nice place to stay
Closeness to beach View
Room was on the corner across from pub which was very noisy, had two nights of not being able to go to sleep until 2.30 am. Window was broken, toilet wouldn’t flush well.
location everything was around the corner right outside the seafront perfect view
The customer service was abit poor I really didn't like the service been to so many hotels in Eastbourne but this one was different I will not be coming back that's for sure. Don't want service like that again. Front desk need to be retrained and not chew gum while servicing customers very very poor
Everything was good
The fact that we overlooked booking breakfast beforehand and therefore had to pay full price of an extortionate price of £19.95. Apparently it's a common error.
Excellent value for money
Paying extra for breakfast as we hadnt booked it
Needs double glazing
The eastbourne bonfire parade .
The most unwelcoming receptionist, that did not make you feel at all like being polite back. The filthy bed throw that looked like it had 10 nappies changed on it, which we handed to the manager that night .
Stayed one night with a group of friends. Great location. Staff were terse and immature, but it was clean and tidy. Would recommend for a cheap girls night away.
Room with a view, nice big and very comfortable bed, good breakfast.
Funny smell from the bathroom made room smell when we first got there but didn't effect our sleep.
easy to stay in
no tissues, no biscuits, thin towells
Location, staff very helpful and personable. Room 115 was a lovely room which had sets of windows one to the side of the hotel and the other was a side sea view of the prom and pier.
lack of tissues. very thin towells
The bed was very comfy & room was clean.
Our room was opposite a pub which was very noisy & meant we had to close our window. Our shower cubicle was much too small, the shower curtain stuck to you & there was no floor mat which meant the floor was soaked. parking costs are reasonable, however, we heard via the receptionist being on a call when we checked out that they pay a parking subsidy which meant it would only cost £1 a day. we didn't see that on line when we booked our room & weren't offered this when we checked in.
