Location, walking distance to transport and restaurants. Staff were very helpful
everything location, access to transport.the staff were very helpful.
I liked that it was in good walking distance of the city centre
The bed was hard as ever.the breakfast was rubbish as there was just burnt toast or 4 cereal's.not worth the money I spent for one night.
Room in the basement Old furnitures No English breakfast!!!
- Staff friendly - Location awesome for Victoria - Cleanliness of shared toilet: I was a bit apprehensive of this, but in the end I was pleasantly surprised with the standard and cleanliness
- Size of room: it was sufficient for a 1-night stay, but I wouldn't want to stay in that room (107) any longer than that
It was below average
Room and bed size. Bedding and towels bedding was old blanket although sheets were clean towels were old and not soft and fluffy
Wifi was good, shower excellent, clean
To be honest the breakfast ( continental) lacked a bit of variety, no cheese or ham for example, limited spreads, no marmite, basically just toast jam, croissant, cereal or fruit, not a major issue and overall wouldn't put me off staying again
Hotel was warm and our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast staff were polite and attentive and the reception staff all highly professional. The hotel is well situated to bus, train, tube and coach stations.
The bathroom, although modern and clean, was very small and hard to move in. Tea and coffee facilities precariously perched on a tiny shelf-could install a larger ledge for them. Beds a bit on hard side.
Staff very friendly, Hotel is clean and no frills in a sympathetic way. Little gestures of service (free power plug adapter) make the difference. And the price/location relation is outstanding.
A bit too noisy - Windows not insulated, breakfast could have a tad more variety to it. Room (single) extremely narrow.
The situation Very close from Victoria Quiet place
The bed was really unconfortable
-Access to subway station. -Close to city center -Clean toilet ,shower and room
-Internet was free but little slow. -Just having continantal breakfast -Small room - elevator was broken down
Walking distance to the station with easy access to the museums and galleries that we wanted to visit. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance..
Happy Hour. Buy one drink, get the second half price. We had to put the two drinks on one bill. Barman would not allow us to pay for two drinks and he pour the second later so that they would not get warm. Nor would he let us pay for all our drinks when we left the bar. So we did not stay.
The staff were extremely helpful and patient. The room was small but perfectly equipped and quiet. We could easily walk to the galleries and sights. Good restaurants nearby.
location and bus stop right outside was very convenient. Very pleasant stay with helpful staff,
poor bar facilities
Paid TV channels?? Seriously??
Location was good Free WiFi
The shower/toilet room very small, no room to dry myself after a shower. Continental breakfast - only cereal, fruit, toast and croissants (expected ham, cheese etc!)
Breakfast was basic
Warm, friendly. quiet
The continental breakfast was a bit poor. No ham or cheese.
The position of the hotel on Belgrave Road was convenient for both Victoria and Pimlico stations. There was a bus stop right outside the door.
The size of the room was a bit pokey and difficult to move around as the bed pretty much took up all the space.
Location and price
The room was tiny, no space at the bottom of the bed to get past. Original windows so if you're on street side you will not get any sleep as you hear passer by's conversations and traffic noise.
super position 10 minutes from victoria station, bus stop outside the hotel, very nice coffe and breaksfast on the morning
very dirty courtines on window in bedroom(404)
It was central to what we were doing in London I would recommend the hotel to my family and friends
Only thing was we were out all day on the weds, when we tried to go to our room the card would not work, the staff were very helpful through
A good location and only a couple of blocks from Pimlico tube station. A bit shabby but clean enough.
The staff weren't over helpful and when we had paid (up front) we were informed we had a basement room. Eventually after we refused it, they gave us a room right up in the roof. One lift was not working which according to previous reviews is an ongoing problem and the breakfast is not really much to write home about. I know that London is expensive but other hotels we've stayed in in other capital cities have been far superior than this one for a lower cost. I wouldn't recommend it.
