Free Breakfast was great room was lovely and clean and was made up everyday
The wifi would drop out quite often but was always available.
I loved this hotel and it was in an ideal location for site seeing and exploring the city.
Very convenient for Victoria station and 24 bus route stops right outside the hotel. Lots of good restaurants within 5 minutes walking. Good luggage room facility near Reception. Good temperature in rooms and windows can be opened.
One lift still out-of-order for several weeks. Some rooms are rather gloomy due poor daylight access. No safe located in room.
Location is great. If you are reasonably fit, you can walk to Victoria, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly and more. They provide breakfast. Quite simple but perfectly adequate.
Bed is regular size so if you are tall, your feet will hang over the end. There is barely room to walk around the bed so no space for large luggage. Terrible traffic noise if you are on street side of hotel. Take earplugs!
the friendly staff at breakfast.
That it was difficult to get into the bathroom. The door was behind a bed.
Excellent location, can walk to pimlico station easily. Very clean room, good hot shower. Nice helpful and friendly staff who were organised, courteous and efficient.
Bed was a little hard for me, perhaps a mattress topper would have made all the difference.
Room and bathroom was clean
Value for money as I booked when it was on discount. The shower was great, the bed was comfortable, the TV had plenty of channels. There is a lift (not that unused it as I was on the 2nd floor so just walked. Was only there for 2 short nights and so was only really there to sleep as I was out all day and night.
The breakfast was very limited for myself as I'm gluten intolerant. All I could have was the yoghurt as the fruit was tinned (so usually has gluten on the syrup) and the rest of the food was bread and cereals. It's fine if you don't have good intolerances.
Breakfast quality poor
Bus stop directly outside hotel so easy access into central London for major tourist sights. Good choice of restaurants in Pimlico all within walking distance. Lovely fluffy white towels and warm croissants for breakfast.
Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast and lovely rooms with good facilities.
The lift was out of order and I was with my elderly Mother-in-Law so she struggled with the stairs!
Location Clean, (I think recently renovated) bathroom. Nice area
The location was brilliant. 10 min walk from Victoria coach station. 5 min walk to nearest tube.
The room was clean but bit worn down, again with the bathroom. The stairs and hallway looked tired. We got the room for £210 for two nights which I thought was excellent. If you walk in off the street it was £255 a night it would never be worth that.
The TV availability, nice staff at the front, the convenience of the location and the price was fair.
creaky floors, what looked like a rather small bed for a double room, thin walls, possibly it was lipstick stained tea cups and garlic smelling bed covers.
Excellent hotel, staff are all really friendly and helpful. Beds were so comfortable, had an amazing nights sleep
Lift broke and no cooked breakfast!
Friendly and informative staff. Great location for Victoria Station, clean and comfortable room.
Booked this hotel on a huge discount, excellent facilities for the price I paid, staff are very professional but they could be a bit friendlier.
Location is a 10 minute walk from Victoria station, not very pleasant in the throes of winter.
the breakfast was lovely staff were very nice
nothing everythign was fine
It was only a 40 min walk from where I needed to be
The room was tiny, could barely move in it! It was as thought they converted a closet and put a bed in it!! It also didn't have it's own toilet - if I wanted to share toilets I'd have booked a hostel! Could have done with the option of paying for a hot breakfast
This is the second time we have stayed at the Sidney and will continue to do so on future visits to the capital.
Within walking distance to station and shops x nice restaurants and local shopping for basics x very clean and staff good x would well recommend x
No option to reduce room temperature other than to open windows which resulted in interrupted sleep due to traffic noise.
