Location and price
No toilet (yeah no toilet), noisy pipes all night, located near entrance, noisy people coming and going. Extremely small room and shower, no iron. Didn't smell great.
beds comfortable, enjoyed breakfast nice dark room slept very well
room was small
Breakfast good plenty of choice. Good bus service from hotel using my pass, travelled everywhere by bus. Saw everything I could in the four days I spent there. Weather marvellous for time of year.
Quiet room at a reasonable price for London. Pleasant staff.
Pity that one of the two lifts was out of use for the whole stay. This meant that we had to go to the floor above and walk down to our room. The stairs are steep and narrow.
Unexpected upgrade from single to double! Helpful and friendly staff. Room spotlessly clean. Great location within walking distance of the conference I was at. Unlimited coffee at breakfast :)
Breakfast options very limited for the price. Key card a bit unreliable and kept having to reprogram it.
Two halogen security lights right outside my bedroom window coupled with traffic noise all night made for a very bad nights sleep. Not recommended.
The location was convenient to Pimlico Station which was great for taking the tube. We were walking distance to the palace and even to the parliament buildings if you want to walk that far. The Tate Britain is close by too and much better than the Tate Modern.
It seemed a lot of rooms were in the basement and because the elevators weren't working it was not easy hauling our suitcases up and down. The breakfasts were not great, but at least there was something to get the day started.
WE ENJOYED IT ALL THE ROOMS FOR THREE, COSY BEDS ,GROUND FLOOR ASKED FOR AND WE GOT . BREAKFAST ENOUGH FOR US .IN ALL WE WILL RETURN THANK YOU
Stayed numerous times before and will continue to do so
Great value for money. Lovely shower. Wonderfully clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
The position is simply perfet, near Victoria and Pimlico, a walking from Westminster. Very good and gentle staff
The breakfast is not the top
I was a nightmare. The hotel was paid by company credit card around 10 days before my arrival (payment was cleared). Upon arrival the unfriendly member of staff explained that he cannot let me in as I dont have that card with me (I did not have as it was not my card, but of the company). I had to call from London to Poland to my company and to our ultimate surprise the staff asked that the company send by email or far all the following documents: credit card photo (both sides!), ID of the credit card owner and his signature and the statement that the owner of the card authorises it for my use. Even though the owner of the card sent the copy of one side (both sides would mean extremely high fraud risk) and the statement, the staff didn't let me in. They took another card from me and debited it saying the first one will be credited, but it did not happen until now. Because of the behaviour of the employee I strongly advise anyone not to book the hotel under any circumstances.
breakfast wasn't very good tinned fruit, toast cold not freshly made, lift broken,
convience of hotel. value for money.
I have a problem walking and we were on the fourth floor.. the lift was broken and we had to go to 5th floor and walk down. when booking again I will request a lower floor and a larger twin room, as our room was very cramped.
Very polite staff and cleanliness of hotel excellent, breakfast good. Have visited many times with my sister.
Shower room a little small
Location of hotel
Room was rather tired with damaged headboards to all 3 beds in room. Breakfast was poor choice with value muesli. Check in was 11 am but on arrival at 12 we were told room was not ready. Room was noisy seamed to be under the bar area a lot of foot noise. Wifi very expensive.
location was the only thing good about this hotel.
breakfast is a small continental breakfast. Not a real breakfast. 1 elevator broken, so we had to take other elevator to top floor, walk down the hall to the stairs, then take a flight down the stairs to our room. Rooms and bathrooms quite small.
Nice modern shower room. Location.
Old fashioned stair carpet. Was put on third floor which i didn't like in case there was a fire. Lift didn't work. Very poor breakfast selection. Staff attitude, they couldn't be bothered!
The staff are helpful and polite, location is good, only 20 minutes walk to Victoria Station. The area around the hotel is lively.
The breakfast was poor, not a lot of choice. The room is very small, you really have to squeeze pass the bed to go to the bathroom.
breakfast was basic furnishings were in need or repair
location, wi-fi size of room provided.
It was cheaper and good position and provided a good twin triple room.
Very dowdy carpets and furniture. Breakfast mediocre. Pretty basic.
It was pretty cheap
Very small room, no cooked breakfast
Felt the man on reception was rude, offhand and very unhelpful who gave a very poor initial impression of the hotel
Hotel location good for coach station and bus routes to central london
Small room, but clean and comfortable, lift out of use struggled upstairs with suitcases, front room suffered from road noise found it difficult to sleep at night should have chosen a rear room, double glazing would be a good addition to front rooms
Hotel kept very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but very adequate for a short break
