Top class bed, and spacious ,well appointed bedroom. Family run country hotel where service is friendly and caring. Set in beautiful Devon countryside within easy reach of Sidmouth and other seaside resorts.

This was a wonderful hotel. We stayed in one of the cottages and my mother stayed in the hotel. The pool was heated and one of the cleanest pools I have been in. There was a tennis court which was of a really high quality. The grounds of the hotel were amazing and so well kept, and the view is something that cannot be caputured through a photograph. We came back completely relaxed wishing we had stayed for longer and would definitely go back.

Very friendly and comfortable in a rural location. The food was very good but rather expensive . I think breakfast could have been included in the room rate.

We stayed in the cottages in the Hotel grounds. 'The Granary' was in an excellent position to admire the beautiful view of the rolling green countryside. The hotel owners were very welcoming and obliging. OUr stay was peaceful and very restful. The swimming pool was heated and lovely. The only two slight quibbles were that the hanging space and coat hangers in our cottage, sleeping 3, was inadequate. Also there was no facility to watch DVDs during the week we were there in August. These matters in no way spoilt our holiday and could easily be rectified by the owners.

De ligging is erg mooi. De eigenaren zijn zeer servicegericht en aardig. Het appartement is comfortabel en zeer schoon. Zwembad en tennisbaan prima. Minder vonden wij de ligging van de appartementen aan de binnenplaats, waardoor je niet zoveel zicht hebt op de mooie natuur, maar wel op de parkeerplaats. Verder waren de overige appartementen verhuurd aan een Australische groep jonge mannen. Dit zorgde voor nogal wat reuring.

Prachtig, wat achteraf gelegen, ex-boerderij-hotel. Gerund door een meer dan vriendelijk echtpaar Stephen en Sarah. Vooral zijn humor is Brits en voortreffelijk. Zeer gemoedelijk en ongedwongen met een fantastische keuken.
