It was peaceful and comfortable. A truly beautiful setting.
The double room offered was too small and cramped. I asked for a twin room and that was much better.
nice setting in the countryside. Quiet.comfy bed.
rather small boring bedrooms.
Travelling to Silverstone for the weekend my pal and I thought we would break the journey up by travelling the night before and staying somewhere within half hour of the circuit. Dunchurch proved to be excellent value for money and more than meet our needs. Would definitely recommend!
The hotel is very nice, situated in a beautiful location, very nice and quite (when there isn't a wedding), breathtaking views.
The bedroom was far too small, not much space to move around, very clustered feeling, no air circulation in the room. Bathroom was in terrible state, insects and spider webs on windows. Appalling.
The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Ceiling plaster flaking onto the floor in the bathroom.
Stayed here for a overnight stop for a wedding at a different venue was ideal. Would recommend and would deffinetly stay again. Staff even gave us a really early check in with us traveling far and needing to fleshing up quickly for the ceremony. Really appreciated.
Beds are kind of uncomfortable. But ok for 1 night
The room, the lake, the building, the staff, the other guests
we only stayed one night
Quality of food and value
The organelle part of the hotel was beautiful and like wise the setting.
The part of the hotel where I stayed was some what dated and in need of modernising! The hotel also had overpowering smells of incense!!!
Room was too small and too hot. No air con and windows only opened a small amount.
The location & grounds
The bed was very uncomfortable & noisy. The doors in the corridor & rooms were when left to close were very noisy.
Very pleasant room
So very helpfull night staff .all good whith this hotel .5star
24 hour check in - we arrived very late Lovely surroundings Basic but clean room Close to where we needed to be (family funeral)
Could have done with an extra blanket in the room - the first night was cold (August). Found it difficult to sleep the first night.
Free wifi was great, close to local amenities (ie supermarket/eateries).
Poor room cleanliness, size of room, price paid for disappointing room, lack of breakfast, thin walls general shabby decor in room
Nice bar, friendly receptionist
Room was small and tired, bed felt damp, shower broken. Breakfast was \'a312.50 and was inedible
I booked this hotel last minute and they were superb. They let us check check in early so that we could get changed as we were attending a wedding. My wife also used the beautician that's located there at the last minute who was more than accommodating due to my wife forgetting her make up bag before both of us jumping in to a taxi that the hotel had pre-booked for us. The room was more than comfortable and great value for money. Superb service!
The location for this hotel is amazing, it was booked for a friends Wedding, and i can see why they chose the venue.
Where do i start? The rooms are very dated, almost like halls of residence in size, with NO soundproofing between rooms! We had a couple below us who left their TV on full blast and we had to ring reception to sort . . . 3x (they were excellent in responding) we didn't get to sleep until approx 3 AM. temperature in rooms on a lovely hot sunny day was overwhelming. . but at £80 a night it wasn't even up to a normally chain hotel. We did receive apologies and a partial refund, but not until we'd cooled off a bit and sent a measured email.
no one on reception on late arrival, complex is a bit spread out, long walk to my room late at night
Rooms were nicely decorated and well equipped. Reasonable hotel overall
Rooms are in separate "dormitory" style blocks and totally out of keeping with the lovely main buildings. Don't expect to stay in a country house in the pictures as there are no rooms in the main building.
It reminded me of a 1950 college or high school dormitory. I liked it.
Do not arrive late at night. You will get the wrong impression.
Hotel rooms are quiet, clean and confortable. Staff are, generally, friendly and helpful, but there is always the odd one!
Wife connection signal not strong in certain rooms and Reception did not seem to want to assist in getting connected when the signal was O.K. All I hot was jargon about mobile phones which did not apply to a lap top. Unlucky for me, I use a laptop and was unable to connect. I did not persivere with Reception - I got the impression of "Love to help, but my hand are tied". In other words, the girl I spoke to was not interested in my problem. There are no common relaxation area except for the somewhat characterless bar. And breakfast at £12 is over the top. It's £4 at a couple of venues nearby. It would be an idea to have a B&B rate rather than aiming to be the cheapest room rate in the area. rate. The rooms are worth every penny of the low room only charge - put a few quid on top for Brekkies so you can actually know how many will attend Breakfast. On the present system, food must go to waste. Lecture over.
