The room was very clean. It is a very peaceful place to stay overnight. The breakfast place was not very clean. Not enough places to sit. Only full English breakfast. Very small rooms. Bed is very small. No cupboards available. Only one chait to sit on.

Very good value for a clean warm room with bath.very quiet overnight with good breakfast in the morning. Secluded nature of car parking makes for security. We will certainly use the hotel again when prices are as low as this.

Reception staff were very helpful Accommodation was in a separate building out the back and just like a 1970's university hall of residence - nothing to do with the original building. Breakfast was totally self service (even coffee) and pre-cooked and tasteless, eggs were inedible, continental option was very meagre.

The main reason for staying at the hotel was the convenience of the location as we were already attending a function at the hotel. I would not usually stay there. The rooms were very small and very dated. The bathroom was not particularly clean and the lid was missing from the bin, which had some rubbish in it from, presumably, the previous inhabitants of the room. In addition, a bit of the tap was missing. There weren't enough towels or pillows. We were advised that there would be complimentary water, which there was not.

It had lovely grounds & had a nice little town close by with restaurants & a pub, it was lovely to eat in the main house and look around it. Also had massive bunches of flowers in the main house, smelt lovely! Breakfast was amazing!! From the pictures and reading the description of the hotel I thought I would be staying in the main house which is what allthe pictures are of. I was very disappointed when I turned up & I couldn't even see the house from the drive and we stayed in a block behind it which was ok but it might aswell have been a travelodge to be honest. I think if there are not actual bedrooms to stay in the main house this should be stated to save disappointment. It was a lovely place but we only got to have breakfast in the building which is a shame. I payed to stay here thinking I would be in a lovely manor house but was very disappointed & it was a present to my boyfriend so I also felt a bit silly because as I said when we got there we couldn't even see it! One small other thing was that I didn't realise I had to pay at the end of my stay, I thought it had already been paid for!

Rude, unhelpful reception staff. The shower in my room was broken and it took them several requests and 2 days to fix it.

Suited required location reasonable price Accomodation spread over to wide an area which meant going out of one building across to another to eat and go to reception.

The price was very good and the hotel was lovely. The room was in a strange long rectangle shape but warm and clean. The breakfast was lovely and the room really nice were it was served. I would of loved to of stayed in the hotel part as it looked very historic but the stable block bedroom were nice. The TV was too far away from the bed so you could not read what was on guide. There was not enough space for clothes or drawers for our things but we just kept our them in the suitcase.

It is in an idyllic situation having the advantage of being set in beautiful grounds. A small point - but the extractor fan in my room (Room 16) did not work.

Dph is beautifully situated in the lovely village of Dunchurch and is convenient to surrounding business locations. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is insufficient storage space in the bedrooms to unpack cases into drawers and hanging space.

Generally good Issue with boiler in the middle of the night. However, this was well dealt with by staff at the time and by management afterwards.

My husband and I have stayed many times at this lovely hotel, and this time it was with friends to attend a wedding. The rooms are great, the staff are excellent, and we had fourteen to dinner on our arrival night, a beautiful round table was reserved for us, and the meal and the service was excellent. A fantastic breakfast was served in the great hall. As always an exellent stay We dont really like the walk from the rooms which are in the courtyard to the main building where breakfast and meals are served, It was a blowy and cold few days, so not great to have to put on winter coats to have meals etc, and maybe there should be more lighting there, but thats just a personal thing, a covered walk way would make it perfect

The room was very clean and comfortable, good value for money. Excellent for the xmas party attending. The loud housekeepers early in the morning shouting down the corriders. Also at breakfast time we asked three times for cutulery for our breakfast, very slow and not very quick on clearing tables. These two things only the downside otherwise excellent service from the other staff we came into contact with.

Whilst I booked this room on behalf of a family couple visiting me I have answered the questions based on their report to me. I had personally inspected the facilities and I would certainly book this hotel on behalf of others as it is within a mile of my own home. The family friends are from Ireland and their report on the hotel was genuinely of very high standard and have indicated that they would also recommend the hotel to friends There were definitely no criticisms of the hotel and its facilities.

Nice grounds and good conference facilities. Evening menu was awful but hotel is located 7mins walk to numerous restaurants which are excellent. We were in the newly refurbished block with nice new paint and carpets. Numerous cobwebs on ceiling in our room however. Twin room had very narrow beds which were quite uncomfortable. Pillows and duvet were cheap unbreathable type. We could hear the conversation in the adjacent room. All said though, including breakfast for two it was fairly priced.

From the moment we walked it is was great. The girl couldn't find our booking, though I had a confirmation from booking.com, but it wasn't a problem. Our twin room was reasonably sized and in the courtyard area. Room got a bit too hot overnight even with the window open, and didn't know how to regulate the heating. We decided to stay another night, and it was no problem, even though it was a Saturday night and they had a couple of weddings on. Bed and pillows could be updated
