Dunchurch Park Hotel  

Gardens and setting were beautiful but totally underused.

Breakfast: the room was perhaps the most soulless space I have ever been in, the breakfast itself was mediocre.

Location

The rooms were tired,need revamping. Doors old. Food served was poor,in the bar area. Disappointed really.

Its location and the main building

the outer building are poorly constructed, small and the walls are like paper. Not somewhere where you can get a good nights sleep!!

The hotel is situated in very beautiful grounds.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Rural setting and the well kept grounds which gave the hotel the feel of a stately home.

The room was small, the extractor fan in the en-suite remains on for about 20 mins after you switch off the light- not good for getting off to sleep last thing at night and the breakfast was poor both in terms of variety and presentation.

Atmosphere of relaxation and calmness. room was very comfortable and spacious.

Grounds unexpectedly magnificent, room very clean, had all facilities and you changed a faulty tv for me, meals could be ordered all day, sense of freedom, good car parking, businesslike approach to leisure customer, very good breakfasts. Health and beauty concession very good.

No Wetroom for disabled (my husband would love to come). Distance from room to breakfast room, parking spaces labelled disabled but in general use (confusing) , nice and near the entrance to Rochford? Court, Water taps in room slow, laminated floor in bathroom slippery when wet. A lot of steps.

Nice area, good bar service, plenty of parking.

Male Receptionist a bit short on the phone when we asked about breakfast, rooms very small and looking a bit dated and tired, buildings didn't really look like the pictures, member of staff walked in our room when we were in it, breakfast £12.50 and not much available as had run out. Breakfast staff didn't look very happy (except for the girl that greeted us at the door).

Nice location between Rugby and Dunchurch, Close to family. Lots of free parking Excellent buffet breakfast Excellent value for money

The gym

Need to get some more weighted gym equipment!

The main house was beautiful. Staff & food excellent.

The bedrooms were well below par & were far over priced. Also small.

The breakfast we had was very good

The staff were poorly informed of what the hotel offers and the times of meals, The bar staff were rude and unhelpful. The room was poorly decorated and only had 1 chair to sit on at the table.

The receptionists were there 24/7 always happy to help and accommodating to needs, and even upgraded rooms amongst our group of friends so we were together.

I liked that the hotel receptionist understood how and why I was so bitterly disappointed with my room and tried her best to give me a better one

The hotel website suggests guests will be staying in an elegant country- house hotel where as in fact rooms are small, modern, unpleasant (at least the first one I was given was, the second was somewhat better). I felt I had been completely conned by the website and would never have booked to stay had I known the reality.

If you like a dormitory and parking the car quite away from th entrance then this is the place

I have stayed there before and have been very happy, however this time round it was very poor, I booked the room yet they didnt receive the email but I had the confirmation, the room itself was very small, the lighs wernt on properly the bedside cabinets were proped up by folders andthe shower head had electical tape holding it together. I will think again before I stay there again

Unwelcoming and awkward reception staff.

Apalling customer services, our room was rented in an unsuitable condition with water leaking through the bathroom ceiling, keeping us awake. Om reporting to the receptionist, her english was poor and we did not even get an apology. I lodged a compaint and did not get a call until I called the hotel the next day. The so called manager was rude and whilst he did apologise he would not offer any sort of refund and I found the whole episode unacceptable, both the room and the staff being totally inadequate and unprofessional. A joke...........

Bedroom a disappointment. Room too small, bed too small. Brilliant hair dryer but no mirror!! No proper hanginging space for ladies clothes. Very YMCA. Would stay again for a better room. Only suitable for single male.
