Location and very quiet
A bit hot but coooled down when I turned off the radiators. Then OK
Local to where we wanted to be
Sharing bathroom/shower room.
Good location for price
Shared bathrooms of poor cleanliness
Living room and kitchen. Some toilets are big enough. While the location is not good, there are some take-away restaurants and the overground station nearby.
Hidden charges. Noises. That guests need to ask for a second towel.Find the belongings of the previous guests still in the room. Hidden kitchen.Hot water not working properly.
Bed lining clean
The noise that the central heater made (like an idling engine) was enough to prevent me from sleeping through the night, also the constant slamming of doors when people went to the bathroom
Room space is good
i love the fact that reception is 24/7, staff is always helpful and welcoming and never grumpy. Clean enough to be called clean!
Recently wifi has become a £5 fee-.-
If you are doing London on a budget stay here. Comfortable bed, big room with a sink. Close to public transport. Nothing fancy but just what you need.
Bathrooms a little on the dirty side. WiFi is not free in the lounge as stated.
3min walking from Homerton metro station. Not central but with easy access to the centre by metro (30 min).
The breakfast was relly poor but for the price, no one could expect much more.
Walls paper thin, had noisy guests outside our room talking loudly til the early hours keeping us awake.
when I was looking for the accomodation in London, price was what mattered the most. This place was definitely the cheapest alternative available.
The room was nothing like what was shown on pictures. It was a tiny "room" 2x2m big, so basically everything that fitted there was the bed. The mattress was so weird, everytime we moved we've woken each other up. We had the room just next to the two toilettes on the floor, so we heard people going in and out (they were everything but considerate of the other guests who might sleep at night, surprise). There was no heating in the room (yes, we were staying there in January), no table to put your things on. The staff wasn't friendly at all, we had a hard time understanding them through their thick accent. Overall, the price is good, but I was so disappointed. Wouldn't recommend at all. Better to save up a little and afford a nice place where you're going to feel comfortable and undisturbed.
Bathroom was dirty.
Staffs are very kind. Location is excellent.
Decent location. Close to train station.
Noise from next room. Heating in full and noise from road.
There is a free parking zone just after the bridge, on the right (even the concierge didn't know it). The overground station is very near.
They pretended 5% extra to pay by credit card but I reminded them the booking.com policy is no commissions and they finally didn't charge me that. The TV is too small.
If you just need a bed for a night its brilliant. So great value for money...that's all!
Broken radiator - had to leave all windows wide open to avoid being roasted. Toilet was not properly fixed which was a bit worrying....
Decent location just round the corner from the overground. Cheap. Nice size room, bed and TV
My main issue was with the bathroom. Considering how many rooms there were on the floor there was only one bathroom for everyone. One toilet, one sink and one bath. The bath was dirty and the shower hose was not fixed to the wall. This was quite disappointing. No sink in the room when there is only one bathroom is also poor.
Very cheap for London Efficient staff
Walls are paper-thin and the people who were staying next door were talking loud and had the Tv loud from midnight till 7am (I'm not exaggerating) and I had one of the worst sleeps of my life. In retrospect I should have advised reception, but they sounded like the sort of people who wouldn't have cared what the reception said
I liked the location
The mattress and bed I slept on is very old, as well as the duvets. The Whole place looks so untidy, and the reception/service was very poor.
Good facilities (tv in room as well as lounge room, kitchen with drink machine etc.) Friendly and helpful staff at 24 hour service desk. Close to overground train station. Free wifi with good coverage. Clean bedroom and shared bathroom.
Cleaners were rude
Location was convenient to local buses. Reasonable internet access from computer
Wanted to charge 5% for payment with any sort of card. Very basic room with no facilities. Room was not cleaned during a 3 night stay.
Location wine and cheese
Continuous hum of boiler at back of hotel
There are bus stops near by to get to central london and the neighborhood isn't too shabby. There was nothing actually unpleasant about the place but everything itself is pretty mediocre.
Not filthy but not really clean, and you have to pay for breakfast and wifi. the carpet was old and dirty looking enough to not want to walk on it barefoot and the blankets looked like old insides of old blankets wrapped in sheets…
