Score from 90 reviews Good
Situated just a short stroll away from the Winter Gardens, Blackpool Tower, and the beach, this hotel features lovely 1920's Art Deco interiors. Stylish, comfortable rooms include original features.

Good location and car park on rear but is hard to find. Friendly receiption man, room is basic with t.v. and comfortable. Bathroom is small and toilet even smaller.
Small bathroom/shower and toilet.
Very dirty when complained they said just been cleaned would not like to c there house. Check milk in room ours was 20 days out off date stains on bedding I could go on all day all I can say is avoid
Location is the only thing that is positive about this scruffy smelly dump
On arrival we realised the pictures on the Internet are not what you see when you get there. Empty bar(no alcohol or pool table) the smell of foreign spices and urine in the hall ways. The room on arrival had seman stains on them and had to be changed(because we asked) the room was so small we couldn't use any cupboards or wardrobes the room was dirty and was stained all over. The shower on suit was leaking and smelt damp and the tiles we hanging off and stained. We were told towels were not provided but on the pictures on the inter you see towels on beds. When we went to go to sleep we realised the bed was broken and the mattress fell thru where the pillows were so we had to sleep half way down the bed. Also there were lots of happy noises coming from other rooms that were straigely close like the walls were made of papermashe I could go on and on. I've taken pictures as evidence and il be passing them on to trading standards
Didn't like nothing at all
The hotel in jenrel it was a first class dump never go again
Not one thing!
2 minute walk from mcdonalds!
The bed was clean and comfy, bathroom was okay
Door of hotel was unlocked all night, the boss of the hotel is the rudest man I have met. The curtain fell down and the heating did not work!
The location we often go but would not go back there!
It's not a place for families, all the way up the rd had Xmas lights etc, you had to ask 4 a towel and they should not say breakfast is in as bread, juice is not worth 5pound per person after we try it the 1st day we went out for a propa breakfast,it was really cold aswell they had a plug in heater as the radiator was not on .
It was fair for the worth of money
The room was ice cold! Did mention it to the guy there n he said it is on, but we had a Frozen nite lol, apart from heating issue it was all good Thank you
The distance from town
ROOM TOO SMALL. BATHROOM WAY TOO SMALL.
The staff were accommodating, welcoming and helpful
I understand the price is cheap, it is blackpool. My prior experiences are hit and miss. This is defiantly a miss. The hotel placed well. However the shower didn't have a head. The wallpaper was hanging off. It was filthy. I reliterate it is dirt cheap, but at the end of the day your paying for dirt.
Staff very friendly
Shower didn't work. Limited breakfast options.
The wall paper was peeling off the wall in the shower which looked in need of a serious clean, the bed was like sleeping on bricks, no towels/soap in the room, reception staff had an attitude of "we've got your money so tough" I was that unhappy that I left as soon as I could without bothering about breakfast.
Never again! My wife and I visited Blackpool with another couple we are friends with, we stayed here for 1 night and wish we had slept in the car! After getting the keys to our rooms the other couple noticed that the bedding in their room had large stains on and had clearly not been cleaned properly (if at all), they then went down to reception to request clean bedding to be put on, the man at reception replied it is clean, when asked again he gave them clean bedding but told them they would have to take the dirty sheets off themselves and put the clean bedding on! The morning after we stayed here my friend had a couple of little red marks which turned out to be bed bug bites and over the course of the day even more bites came out! He had literally been bitten so badly that approx 25% of his body was covered in raised red itchy bite marks, that evening his partner started coming out in bites! We reported this to the receptionist who didn't seem surprised & manage to speak to the owner/manager who seemed a little more concerned but hasn't done a thing about it since! We haven't heard anything back from him! Although we were under no illusions and for what we paid we didn't expect a 5* hotel, we didn't expect to be sharing our room with bed bugs! DISGUSTING!!!!
location value for money I was expecting a real dingy hole from some comments however I was pleasantly surprised yes it was basic but clean bedding was spotless and it was onSuite 40.00 for two nights for two how can you grumble it was a base for the weekend I,d be back again!
The bar/reception man was very friendly and helpful and for the price we paid it was very good value and only a short walk from Winter Gardens and centre of town.
There were several young couples and group of girls there and all came back in early hours of the morning and were quite noisy, especially the couple next door who were arguing on landing at 4.45, and he was threatening to throw her downstairs, not nice!
It says continental breakfast it was toast and cereal and coffee/tea which I would not class as a continental breakfast
This was by far the dirtiest, unfriendly and dated hotel I've ever stopped in. There was damp every where. A hole in the wall (no not an atm an actual hole) We didn't have curtains. Staff were very rude and unhelpful. Carpets were disgusting. Bed sheets were dirty. The hotel in general was a dive.
Guy on reception offered extra nite for cash only payment. Change of price next morning. Booked using booking.com for 10 quid less than guy wanted
- Uncomfortable bed - Dirty bed throw - Broken toilet seat - Blocked shower head - Broken window - Cold room - Dirty tea and coffee area - Inappropriate staff
I would like to make a complaint about this hotel, I arrived Saturday the 8th of November, with knowledge that I wasn't expecting a 5* in Blackpool, and was expecting the worse, but when we checked in at 3pm (becAuse that was the only time we was allowed to check on) I was absolutly disgusted ! the pictures on your website look nothing like the hotel, but we went ahead anyways, the hotel receptionist was barely English he gave us out key we went and found our room, opened the door and it was absolutly horrendous ! I wouldn't even put my dog in there !!! The "curtains" we hanging off, the bed wasn't made, I smelt the pillows it smelt like someone had literally just slept in it, the "white sheets" were black, bitty and filthy! There were hairs all in the bed, there were flies buzzing around in the bathroom that smelt like a sewage. So we went back down to complain and he mumbled some none English to his "manager" on the phone whom we wasn't allowed to speak to and they said all we can do is offer you another room, I'm sorry but at £39.98 I do not expect to be staying in something that could easily be mistaken for a brothel ! but anyways we had a look at another room, it smelt fusty but at least the bedding was white, it still looked nothing like the pictures on your website, or on theirs. The receptionists excuse for it looking so awful was that it was "end of season". Well I'm sorry but I've done travel and tourism myself and it should look the same all year round, I've been to magaluf at the end of season and it looked nothing like that hotel !! I am so furious, I feel absolutly robbed ! I wouldn't mind if it was £20 or even £25 but I paid £39.98 WITHOUT breakfast (which I'm glad or I'd have probably ended up with food poisoning).
The accommodation, no cooked breakfast, untidy I had the view of a dirty back yard. I would not recommend staying here to anyone
Close to centre of town
There are so many things wrong with this hotel! The staffs attitude to any complaints or concerns was appalling, the rooms were filthy and freezing cold and the bathrooms were falling apart!
