Rooms and shower was dirty. Poorly maintained. Staff for morning breakfast were rude and showed no respect
Room was in a poor condition - bedside light not working, tv not working Room situated on 2nd floor and stairs where very narrow which meant that going up to room with suitcases was difficult. Wherabouts of rooms was not signposted
The room was not very clean and beds and bedding had a lot of stains on them , could not even see out of the window and it the dirtiest carpet I have ever seen in a hotel Was very disappointed
smelly all over
Attitude filthy room tv not working walpaper hanging off switches not working toilet and shower disgracefull not happy
Cheap; only good thing
-Staffs did not seem welcoming -Breakfast was just for the namesake of it -Rooms are tiny and not well maintained -TV did not work -Staffs did not seem to care about guests.
value for money good location
After check in did not see a single member of staff we arrived at 14.20 and had to wait until 15.00 to check in.thought we would be able to get a drink or something while we waited
The room was darkly decorated and poor finish the walls was rough paper hanging off I the bathroom dust on the bathroom bin bed side lights didnt work nor did the digital box for the tv mirror was off the wall in the main room and you could see the repair in the bathroom where they changed the radiator for a smaller one the toilet cistern didnt fit properly and the toilet seat was broken
The road it was in
Everything. It was uninhabitable. It was a flea pit.damp and dirty.only stayed in room 20 mins and started feeling bad with chest problems. Went to find somewhere else to stay.AVOID!!!!!!
enjoyed everything about our stay at hotel, friendly and helpful staff, good facilities, comfort was extremely good within the room and throughout the hotel, sleeping was extremely comfortable, defiantly value for money, got a bargain if been honest, would recommend this hotel to other people.
Ignorant staff , filthy bedding ,wardrobes and drawers were all broken that was just the first room when we asked to be moved we were given a roo with no electric ceiling lights just a lamp the bedding was cleaner but the bed was the most noisiest squeuky thing we ever heard expecting it to collapse any minute and we never used the shower inthr 3 days we stayed the shower head was held on with gaffer tape and the shower curtain was mouldy up to about the middle and bathroom floor was filthy
needs up dating and re furnish so sorry to report this as the staff was good i came home with80 bed bug bite s had to go to the doctors
Friendly staff. good place to crash for the night and explore Blackpool.
TV didn't fuction. No batteries for TV remote control. No reading lights.
Friendly staff made you feel welcome and always helpful and location
Room too small for family, bedding didn't match mattress was awful crack in telle shelf where kettle is falls down when kettle is lifted toilets don't flush properly
The hotel was a reasonable hotel for the price that we paid but even if it was so reasonable i would have expected a better breakfast it was only toast and cereal provided
I can't actually say there was anything we liked
Firstly we entered our room to wallpaper hanging off walls and numerous holes in the wall then we got a shower which we didn't really want to do as didn't look very inviting then the water was so hot it could scould someone it clearly hasn't had a temperature control on it I'm no master but even I know it shouldn't exceed 43 degrees!
leaving after getting up to visit sites
got there was dirty the staff had dirty clothes on nothing looked like the picture paid for breakfast witch was toast or cearal room had dirty beds floors noisy pipes broken and ripped beds and not heating pay that little bit more and go some where eles not even worth the money also put on 5th floor with kids if i had any money i would of complained and gone else where but with kids and already paying out couldnt afored to
The only positive thing is the location
On visiting this hotel I kept an open mind after reading everyone's reviews, but we got at reception early hoping to leave our bags as we was an hour early for check in but we was met with a really rude polish man who said he was to busy to talk to us and to hurry up and leave our luggage then get out till check in, we then went back at 3pm to pick up the keys for the room we was not Evan shown where to go, when we open the door the room was really cramped and no space for nothing, their was screws hanging out the headboard the bed was really hard we baerly slept the whole week, the curtains was hanging off the window, as for the bathroom there was no toilet paper, no soap no towels (lucky we had our own) their was also human feises on the bathroom curtain we could not Evan complain as we see no staff the whole week we was there until we handed the keys back we seen the polish guy he never Evan acknowledge us we would not recommend this hotel to anyone !!!
Everything, stained unmade beds, rude staff we walked out and stayed else where
Location The lad on the reception was friendly.
Check in was meant to be from 15:00 but all the room keys didn't get brought down till 15:40 at this point everyone was then able to check in. The room was disgusting, chairs were ripped, bathroom door had no mechanism to shut or lock the door, the bathroom door had holes in + when you tried to shut it it banged because it catches the door runner. The windows was smashed + neither one of them closed + locked proper. The room was dirty + so was the very loud slow trickle shower. The TV had no remote + had to struggle setting it as it kept unsetting itself. It was very very noisy because of banging doors + other people in their rooms + also you could here everything outside as the windows are very shabby + thin + single paned. The light on the bed is poorly positioned as I banged my head on it as it is stuck to the corner of the headboard + it didn't even work + the bulb was stained brown. The cups were dirty. the pictures that advertise the property are not even close to what it looks like the bar area is just a few optics on a kitchen dresser, there isn't a pool table + the drinking, seating area has 2 leather chairs that you sank into + a 2 seater leather settee that you also sank into + also 2 bar chairs. I would not go back to this hotel + I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. it isn't worth what was paid be it even for a basic nite stay
Room was filthy, staff were very rude and unhelpful. Didn't stay for full length of booking due to state of the room. Floor was stained and unhoovered, wallpaper peeling off walls, mould in shower and on ceiling above the very uncomfortable beds, TV didn't work and no proper lock on the room door even though main door is open ALL night. Absolutely appalling hotel.
The staff listened to me and done there job in the end
The first room I was in was not very nice quite dirty tbf but once I spoke to staff they imidiately moved me to a much nicer room only problem was the flights of stairs we had to walk up and down and we are in our 50s
The room was dirty It's smelt The staff didn't have us booked in even tho it had been booked for a long time
1. Rude staff. 2. Over charged for family room even when it was same as the double room. My friends where charged £44.98 for double room and I was charged £67.80 for similar double room (published as Family Room). 3. Even though breakfast was included we where rudely told by the staff breakfast start at 10:00 am Never had the breakfast. 4. Staff is not available on the front desk and if you call he is very rude.
