Ulster American Folk Park (about 12 km) - The park was voted Best Northern Ireland Visitor Attraction. It is an outdoor museum of emigration from Ireland to America throughout the 18th and 19th centuries.
Gorten Glen Forest Park (about 16 km north of Omagh) - outdoor natural area with hiking, cycling and walking activities.

I was not impressed with this hotel our bedroom smelt of stale smoke we did request non smoking the quality of the food was dreadful over all experience dreadful |

Friendly staff and an excellent bar / restuarant. very good breakfast As its the only hotel in Omagh be prepared for drunken guests running around corridors at night and a 'boisterous' atmoshere in the hotel bar. the tv has only four channels also. shame as hotel is ok. might have been unlucky but guests were banging doors and shouting at top of voices till five in morning. |

comfortable beds, friendly staff, good food, walking distance of town. rooms were too warm and stuffy |

Staff were excellent - as was the food! The rooms were well furnished and very comfortable The room faced onto a main road - and so the window needed to be closed to minimise road noise. However the air conditioning did not work |

The hotel is very nice, excellent lounge bar area, friendly staff. Very clean - great breakfast! At the moment they are doing building work!! on the lower floor bedroooms - we were woken up a 8 in the morning on our second morning! Our room was situated directly above - drilling, hammering and dumping buliding materials - not nice! This went on to 5pm! Next morning the same even though the reception told me on the first day that this would not be the case. |

Very relaxing, even though there was a weddng taking place at the time, there was no inconvieniece to us. Just the sign outside the hotel. Which did not tell us the name and so we passed it> |
