Good hotel for 3 star rating, stayed in four star which were not as good. Staff helpful and friendly, food good. We would definitely come back.
The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was equally up to standard. Breakfast and supper in the restaurant were tasty and good value. Reception staff were friendly and helpful with bus and taxi requests. We would stay here again.
There was some mould on the ceiling above the shower. Otherwise a very clean bathroom.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely grounds at hotel.
Long wait of about 25 minutes for the cooked breakfast
Modern clean hotel, room was immaculate with lots of space
Service in restaurant at night and breakfast very poor, asked numerous times for drinks, menu's etc.
Staff, helpful and very pleasant. Facilities were excellent, especially attractive lounge areas, restaurant/bar, dining. A vey attractive decor.
really impressed with everthing.
clean and bright
As we were moving house we needed to stay one extra night in Omagh. After a hectic day a period of calm was much appreciated
My partner and I stayed for the whole weekend for the Omagh Festival of Blue Grass. Very comfortable rooms. Cleanliness great. Rooms lovely and comfortable. Couldn't fault anything in that department
We did notice on the first breakfast morning that there was a lot of oil on the plate (soda saturated in oil + my partner got burnt scrambled egg on one occasion). We were hoping to eat there as well especially coming back from the Festival. Needless to say we didn't eat there we went to The Mill Stone not far from the Omagh Festival to eat both nights (both exceptional meals and they do bed and breakfast as well which is good to know - just passing this information to whomever).
Friendly staff, good food, pleasent surrounding decor, very comfortable leisure seating throughout x
Good location and very friendly staff
Loved the outlay of Hotel, staff very helpful,
Found it hard to find, drove past .could do with more signage .Had to ask directions only to find we were so near hotel .
Location was good and there was plenty of parking. Staff on duty were on the whole very good. Free wifi. A Spar next door.
Breakfast didn't start until 7:30, but you could get a continental earlier. The cooked breakfast was very greasy compared to other places.
friendly staff clean hotel
dinner menu was very poor. everything deep fat fried. fresh veg? Cook with garlic, herbs etc? Stir fry rather than deep fry? better vegetarian option? freshly baked bread for dinner and breakfast?better fish option including for breakfast ? salami/cold meats, cheese selection, nuts etc for breakfast? cheese board for dinner? Huge room for improvement. We could not find any restaurant open in Omagh on the Monday night so opted for your restaurant. Why not do a trip to Nevin Maguire's Restaurant or the equivalent in the North and create a menu to entice people to your restaurant. People will pay for good quality food.
Great Food and excellent and helpful Staff
The food was utterly dire: economy grade catering at its worst. Just not in keeping with the otherwise high standard of hospitality I experienced.
There was a mix up when we arrived and the room we had booked was not available - the girls on reception quickly got alternative rooms for myself and my son and we were very pleasantly surprised the rooms we were given were executive rooms and we didnt want to leave, would recommend these rooms but I have to say again how helpful the staff were. If I am ever up that way again that is where I will stay. Breakfast lovely and plentiful too.
Only thing I would fault was the menu on the first night was very limited as there were several functions on but the steaks we had were delicious. There was a different menu on the Sunday night which had a lot more choice.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious bedrooms.
Food just ok.
We took our wee granddaughter for a two day break, which we thoroughly enjoyed . It was our second stay at the Silverbirch and would definitely go back again. Staff very friendly and good food .
Reception helped find me a room for early check in because I had arrived early from USA and was exhausted. They spoke personally with me to let me know an ambulance had been called for my mother and when I forgot my passport called my mobile to let me know before I headed off to Dublin and had a backup plan in place in case I had left Omagh. Awesome folks!!
The staff were so pleasant, and may I say better dressed than most of the visitors, They were so helpful and eager to please, but they did this in such a way that my wife and I felt so relaxed, It was almost like being at home but with servants. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. Other hotels should send their staff there to learn how it should be done. A wonderful experience.
Cant think of anything...
trouser press and tea/coffee facility in room. location.
some staff a bit casual in manner/speech. Training? No RTE channels on TV room lighting inadequate.
Very polite staff, always helpfull
Breakfast starts a little later than other hotels I've stayed at, problem if you need to be on the road earlier.
