I have twice enjoyed a quiet and comfortable stay at this hotel, where the staff are always helpful and welcoming. A good range of food is provided at breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant are very good value. I'd heartily recommend it!

Its a nice hotel and located close to town centre, 2 mins in a taxi. Nice hotel bar and friendly staff who were always willing to help. The breakfast was great and delivered to our room for free which was really appreciated. We stayed one night and the only issue is that the gardener for the hotel was cutting the grass at 8am and woke us and kept us awake. We were in a group of 10 and we we were all awoken. The hotel should have known better. Our group of ten are due back in Omagh in Sept but we will probably be taking up B+B due to this.

Friendly staff. I was charged £30 more than my colleague who booked direct. The hotel had assumed it was for 2 people and I had a very small single bed.

I stayed at the Silverbirch Hotel for one night during a setdancing weekend. And found it an excellent place to stay, also remember being at a family wedding in the hotel about 55 years ago! The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

Location, Staff. It was all soured for me though (read below). I booked at a rate of £72/night I.E. £144 for the two nights. When I checked in, the Receptionist said that she had upgraded my room type. When I arrived in the bedroom, she asked what rate I had been quoted. I told her and she said that she would bring that down to £70/night. I was very pleased with this. When I checked out on Sunday morning, I had to pay £238. I hadn't consumed any 'extras'. As I had recycled the printed booking form at that stage, I had no evidence to verify my booking at a rate of £72/night and in any case, I didn't want to sour the atmosphere by arguing. I feel very let down.

The room I stayed in was along side one of the busiest roads in Omagh and as a result of poor sound proofing, I was kept awake with the noise of relentless traffic outside.....also at 7.00 am until 7.45 am I was subjected to rally cars directly outside my window (sitting at the hotel) revving their engines to the max. Completely unacceptable and when I phoned reception to complain the receptionist explain it was 'Rally weekend'!!!! I replied it was still unacceptable. The hotel manager offered me approx 20 % discount on checking out, however.....I was still exhausted though from very little sleep

I was very impressed with the accommodation which was very comfortable and a good size. I would have liked a mini bar in the room and air conditioning would be a considerable asset.

Excellant service, tentative staff, good location central to most areas for my business trip. I occasionally enjoy a cigar and the smoking area at the front of the hotel is run down and could do with sprucing up

It was a convenient location for our needs(funeral). The lounge seating was comfortable and the area was quiet. We could not sleep very well because of the sound of a fan which we think was located in the kitchen. The bathroom grouting needed a good clean.
