Good location to Refinery Food Quiet
No breakfast included
Perfect location for exploring the area. Easy to find on main road. Rooms warm, clean and comfortable. Evening meal was excellent and breakfast plentiful and served with a smile.
Everything was perfectly in order for this price range.
location of the rooms
the breakfast very oily
Very clean accommodation. Peaceful. Furniture not modern but all in good condition and very functional. Tea & coffee facilities. Staff very friendly.
Room a bit stuffy at the beginning but that soon cleared and wasn't a problem. Would have liked wifi in the rooms, not just the dining room
This hotel is a lodge with rooms away from the restaurant and reception. The room was not very clean and looked as though it was more suited to contractors. The restaurant was delightful but after the first coarse arrived no one came back to the table for 40 minutes, eventually went to the bar to order a dessert and was told they had a table of 5 to serve and we're very busy. Thank goodness it was only 6 of us in the entire restaurant, the barman was indignant about my lack of service and almost threw the menu at me. Never again.
Appalling lack of service in the restaurant
Quiet convenient cabin. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast.
Horrendously uncomfortable bed! Lumpy, plastic undersheet?
You could come and go as you please. Chalet Rooms are an excellent idea.
The decor was outdated and rooms need to be refurbished. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke even though the rooms are non smoking. The bed linen did not fit the bed correctly and should be replaced.
Very relaxed atmosphere
Tried the best bitter but was cloudy had to return it.
See through chalet outer door
The cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of the food was superb
Location good for me
TV didn't work, bed very squeaky and uncomfortable. I was a woman on own with a 1 year old we arrived fairly late at night and was put right on end room next to shift workers. I was told I could park my car outside as had a lot to unload, but then was told later I couldn't leave it their as shift workers needed to get out in middle of night, with a baby sleeping I had to try and arrange for my car to be moved, all very stressful and could have been avoided.
Cleanliness , atmosphere, spooky, main door had see through cracks , spider webs , dirty sheets, old dirty blankets
No toilet paper in rooms empty ciggeratte packs under the bed.
NEEDS A LITTLE UPGRADING
The staff were helpful and the room was clean.
The room was very dated and tired looking. Breakfast was not included in the cost of the room. The cost to add breakfast made the overall cost too expensive.
Meals served at the Inn were excellent in quality & value. Staff dealt competently & quickly with a small problem that we had in the room.
Bedroom furniture really old.
Large rooms, park right outside.
Easy to find
The bathroom was not clean
It was adequate and quiet.
smell and the room was very dark and dingy, room 17
Everything! Rude, unhelpful and unwelcoming staff. Poor quality of rooms and food. This establishment has great potential but needs a complete overhaul from staff downwards. I had a miserable stay.
Location Motel like rooms Potential for lovely grounds but not kept well Bar Staff Friendly
Nylon stained bedding Dirt on walls and light switches Tired Decor Menu and pricing for food
Very friendly staff. good food and comfortable accommodation.
Being able to park car outside room, not having to haul luggage up stairs at all.
Breakfast was a bit dear so we didn't have breakfast. Also was advertised with Wifi but actually could only access that on restaurant.
