The staff in the bar were excellent when we arrived in the evening. So polite and helpful. Really felt welcome and relaxed after a 6 hour drive. Rooms were a bit dated and matresses/pillows could do with replacing as they are clearly worn in but were clean and warm which was more important.

The chef on our final stay (friday). We were happy with our stay until we went to breakfast. He ruined our otherwise faultless experience and I doubt we will be staying with you when we return in the summer as a result. He was extremely rude to us and made us feel like we shouldn't be there. We ordered 3 times and he still didn't listen and got it wrong so the meal was cold by the time it was correct. I wish I had not paid £30 for breakfast after being moaned at by him as we were apparently 'late' when we had agreed the time to have breakfast. Such a shame he has ruined our experience.

The dinner I had was brilliant and I liked the design of the restaurant. My room was quite spacious and had lovely old furniture in good quality. The window was faced to a garden and so I didn't hear any noise from the street. The personnel was more than friendly.

I thought I booked the room with breakfast but I was wrong. Probably my fault. I watched plenty of hotels and booked three different for my holiday tour through Wales. I might have been a bit confused after all.

I initially thought I had booked for Bed&Breakfast after paying later realised there wasn't the bed and breakfast option on a family room, I don't know why. So I found it a little expensive.

in need of major restoration. very basic rooms, could do with a small fridge & Microwave, on site restaurant very expensive considering town facilities very close and reasonable.

i loved the location and the price. the staff were very friendly. it was a very relaxing and beautiful place. loved it

they could have done with more facilities in the room for example a microwave or something but every thing else was perfect

It was convenient for the sightseeing we wished to make.

When I enquired through www.booking.com I expressly asked for bed & breakfast and I do not recall seeing that we were booking only the room; therefore it did put the price up to the tune of 8 breakfasts over the two days which I am not happy about. It should have been highlighted that breakfast was not included and I would have probably booked elsewhere!

Very few facilities, no atmosphere, old tvs, needs complete refurbishing, pub closed, very small bar area breakfast expensive

Away from the hustle & bustle of vacation hotels; clean and comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price.

We chose the Silverdale Inn & Lodge as we were travelling by ferry to Ireland the next day and needed a local base. The Silverdale Inn & Lodge provided comfortable accomodation, and easy parking. The evening meal was excellent, and the breakfast likewise. For what we needed the Silverdale Inn & Lodge ticked all the boxes.

Excellent food in the evenings and a very good breakfast.

Outdated tv system in rooms. Otherwise the hotel "does what it says on the tin !!"

Easy to find, and very comfortable. Disabled facilities were good,always had hot water in the shower, and plenty of tea/coffee/sugar etc.

The staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was very good well presented and not over priced. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very attentive. The room was clean and well appointed and whilst you could find faults (they are in the process of doing the outside up) if you really looked for them, our room was fit for purpose, comfortable bed, tv etc with plenty of hot water for a lovely bath after a long day - I would happily stay there again. We chose it for its location and price - we went to see the puffins on Skomer island - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
