Bed comfort, wi-fi and Tv facilities.Host was charming.
Shower was not working. No wash basin in toilet/showeroom.
The staff at the hotel was lovely very friendly. Bed was very comfy a very peaceful night sleep.
Bathroom a little small but only stayed for 1 night so wasn't a problem really.
Enjoyed the decor, friendly staff, nice room, comfortable bed, room was tidy, and very good value for money when considering tea / coffee facilities available, en suite, freeview tv and WiFi.
Bed lovely and soft very well looked after hotel
Car park at rear very tight if you drive a van
Very comfy bed staff very helpfull
No real breakfast simple continental ?
Nice friendly welcome, really nice comfortable room, Freeview, Wi-Fi in the room, lovely comfortable bed room and good shower, would stay again if in the area.
Very minor gripe but I didn't like being given my breakfast (cereal, milk, pastry, banana, cereal bar) the night before.
Clean and had most things that you need. Able to take meals into the bedroom.
Small shower cubicle. Would have liked a microwave in the room to heat up any food.
Very good in all areas
Getting to rear parking from the front entrance
Cosy room, relaxed atmosphere, nice being able to eat our own food, staff was lovely, very close to Black Country Museum, easily accessible.
Lingering smell of smoke, slight dripping noise in the night, bathroom door could not be closed properly from the outside.
very comfortable and welcoming. Close to Black Country Museum. Good pub nearby
Little bit isolated. Nothing much in Tipton so if you wanted a different pub or restaurant to the local you had to drive
ALL ASPECTS. HOST WAS SIMPLY LOVELY, ROOM WAS SUPERB. CLEANLINESS WAS ABSOLUTE. A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY. WE WOULD BOOK AGAIN VERY HAPPILY.
A FULL BREAKFAST FACILITY WOULD BE WELCOME, BUT WE WERE AWARE THAT THIS WAS NOT OFFERED PRIOR TO BOOKING - THIS IS NOT A CRITICISM.
I am a regular and what I like about Silverdale is the warm welcome, clean comfortable room, excellent wifi and a parking space. Very good value and so much better than the chains.
Jackie runs this place in a friendly and efficient way. Lovely clean and quiet house, free on site parking....Very good value.
Friendly and Welcoming, lovely room and can't fault anything really
Very friendly. Comfortable bed. Shower fine. All the basic essential boxes ticked. Did not try the breakfast as were breakfasting with family members but seemed reasonably priced.
Parking was a little tight as hotel was full but there was space and it was free and off-road with closed gate for extra security.
Fantastically welcoming and helpful even before arrival. Nothing too much trouble and very flexible over delayed arrival. The size of the room and level of amenities. I'd happily book and stay again.
Room next to main road but slept well as the traffic subsided after 22.00.
Staff Parking Value
Would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast and evening meal option but was not an issue, especially as there was a fantastic pub just 4 mins walk selling the most amazing Pies and Bitters! Loved it!
the free use of the internet
no phone in the room
Full of character, beautiful furniture and a cosy environment. Breakfast in a basket excellent with plenty to eat.
Had a good nights sleep, parking was easy, free wifi and nice patio for my wife to have a ciggy.
Disappointed that only offered continental breakfast, not even the option of a slice of toast.
Staff Quality Room size Location Parking Value for money Continental breakfast in room night before Tidy
Despite being on a busy road, the room was relatively quiet (though admittedly we had brought ear plugs with us to ensure an undisturbed night). Beds were super-comfy making us wish we didn't have to get up so early. We will definitely return when in the area.
The kettle was full sized so a little awkward to fill from the bathroom tap - a travel sized kettle would have done the job better. The shower head didn't give an even spray but was powerful enough for our purposes. These are really minor points and not deal-breakers.
You get a great welcome from Jackie. The room I was in was very spacious, clean and comfortable
Nothing to dislike
The bed was comfortable, tv had plenty of channels, plenty of plugs and Wifi
Leak in bathroom, breakfast was cereal, fruit and milk in a flask. Not worth the money.
Clean spacious room with very clean bathroom. Close to Museum and food outlets. Very accommodating staff, who supplied a feather pillow for me on request. Would stay here again
No cooked breakfast available so went to nearby Tesco.
